What are the cheapest good spots for food in Athens right now? (dine-in/take out or drive-thru)

Mainly looking for stuff that isn’t a chain literally everywhere has like a McDonald’s (which itself has gotten expensive)

DM me if you don’t want to blow up the spot :)

When does the student ticket lottery for football happen?

Haven’t gotten an email yet and I’m not seeing anything on the website. I heard applications were supposed to start first day of classes. Just want to make sure I don’t miss out.

What can I do with a Master's in Political Science and International Affairs? (yes-man answers only)

I knew I wanted to go back for more schooling in this subject, and I committed a great program with a generous assistantship offer. However, if I don't go "all the way" to get my PhD, what I can I do with a Master's degree?

I have had insane anxiety about not finding something when I get out of school, so I'm not looking for any "you should have done X instead" type responses.

For those who have a Master's/know someone who does, what options are out there? Thanks in advance.

For anyone who’s seen the film in 70mm IMAX, is it worth it?

I have an AMC Stubs A-List Membership, so I could use it on this movie, but there is a 70mm IMAX theater in my area as well (not an AMC).

Is the difference in format worth paying out for it, in your opinion?

What are some essential Xbox/360/One/Series X titles that you believe belong in every collection?

I’ve been trying to flesh out my disk library, and was wondering if there are any must includes in your opinion for every gamer with these consoles.

23 year old newly single guy starting my first year at UGA this fall as a grad student. What should I expect for those who have been through the dating gauntlet?

I Want to Be Like These Channels. How do I capture that engaging style they have?

In preparation for beginning YouTube videos, I wanted to analyze what about my favorite YouTubers/streamers sticks out to me. I want to make pop-culture/video game related videos and have included a mix of my favorite creators below.

Favorite gaming creators: PaymoneyWubby, Not The Expert, QuipsAndGuac (MTG creator idk if this is more gaming or something else)

Favorite commentary/lifestyle creators: PapaMeat, Big Tugg, Friday Beers, Noel Miller

Favorite video essay creators: BooneU, Jon Bois, James Pumphrey of Speeed, NakeyJakey

For anyone who has watched any of these creators, any advice (e.g. editing, delivery, subject matter, etc.)? Any and all help is appreciated.

Is there a FREE (or at most $100) 1-month plan for someone who has previously taken the LSAT and scored a 159?

Just kind of need to refresh and re-lock in to chase a higher score. Any advice?

Where to go after power chords?

I’ve been playing guitar off and on for about five years now, but I don’t feel like I am advancing. Most of what I’m playing is punk/alt-rock and is largely power chords, so I can pretty much play any Green Day/blink-182/Ramones song. Lower riffs are no problem but the higher strings feel uncomfortable or unfamiliar.

I just feel like I don’t “know much” about the guitar. I have music theory knowledge from prior experience playing the saxophone and can play major scales on the lower strings decently fluent. I just don’t know where to go from where I’m at. My main goal is I want to write original music that is more interesting. Any advice is appreciated.

Earplugs for vocalist/guitarist playing live?

Hey all, I’m a singer and guitarist in a three-piece (others are vocals/bass and drummer) pop-punk/alt-rock band.

Protecting my hearing has become more and more of a concern the older I get always being around live music, but I’m having difficulty finding good earplugs that can reduce the sheer volume of the instruments while still allowing me to hear myself as I sing. I’m not quite at the level where I can intuitively stay in tune by “feeling it,” I still need that auditory feedback.

I tried some of the Hearprotek earplugs from Amazon, which were only marginally better than foam earplugs. I then bought a pair of Loop Experience 2 earplugs, which were a step-up in helping with hearing the instruments more clearly, but I’m still missing out on that vocal clarity.

Any advice on good hearing protection that will let me hear both my vocals and the instruments while still providing that essential safety feature?
