Barking all night

I adopted a 4 year old dachshund about 3 months ago. She came from a neglectful breeder who dumped her when she was no longer useful, and never lived in a home before. Because of her background, we are super patient and understanding of all of her difficult behaviors and shower her with love and affection so she can learn what life should be like. She is very destructive and also isn't picking up on house breaking at all and pees all over the house. At night I have to keep her contained to the kitchen with a baby gate at or she will pee all over the place and destroy things. Problem is she barks for hours every single night. She has soft bedding, water, and toys (but she has no interest in toys of any kind). Light on or off doesn't make a difference. Radio on or off doesn't make a difference. No one is getting any sleep. What can I do?

What causes a block and where to go next?

I can connect with two different parts and be aware of the emotions coming from them. But I don't understand how I am supposed to process those emotions or get anything useful from them. For example, I can feel the loneliness, confusion, and depression coming from a 15 year old part of me. But intellectually I could have told you before IFS that I felt that way when I was 15. So what do I DO with this new access to emotions? Is it supposed to be the goal simply to feel them as opposed to intellectually knowing about them prior to ifs work, or is there something that comes next? It feels like I'm missing some sort of processing of these emotions that I'm supposed to do at this point.

Had a substance relapse and feel like I let down my therapist

I know she isn't supposed to take it personally but I can't help but feel like I've let her down after she's been so supportive for such a long time since I quit (almost a year and a half). Anyone relate?

No use for almost a year then relapsed this week

Just pissed at myself. I was out with friends and one had some weed. It was my first in almost a year. It would have been fine but starting a couple days later I wa getting intense cravings and finally gave in to them. Bought a vape and have been high for the last day and a half. But I just went and threw it in the dumpster outside. That's it. I want to stop it right here before it goes on any longer.

A Thousand Splendid Suns and other books by Khaled Hosseini

I am in the middle of A Thousand Splendid Suns right now and completely hooked. It surprises me that the author is a man! I was wondering if anyone had read his other books and if you thought they were equally as good as Suns.

Anyone else never get angry and want to be able to?

Can anyone relate to this? I've talked about it with my therapist and she thinks I have a lot of anger somewhere inside. But nothing makes me mad. I can think of 4 times I've been irritated in the past year or so and that's it. Things that should make me mad just don't. I either feel sad or I just blow it off. Can anyone relate? What can be done to develop the ability to get mad at appropriate times?
