I did the transmission lines, shift linkage, speedo cable, radiator.

I spent all day putting the engine back in the car after 3 years.

Edit: This was a 390 4spd in Blue with white interior.

Supposedly this car was bought brand new by a little old lady in Oklahoma. A pair of brothers bought the car and swapped in a 428/C6 combo, painted it ember glow metallic and drag raced it until the late seventies. My parents bought the car sight unseen and drove to Oklahoma to get it. When they got the car home it was then revealed that the engine block was blown up enough to have chunks of the valley broken out.

My parents save the crank rods and pistons and cylinder heads. They put the 351 Cleveland from a 71 Torino they scrapped out in the car to make it drivable. They never finished it, I got the car in 2010, got it running. It was my daily driver for the most part 2013 until 2023.

I took the drivetrain out of the car mostly to refresh the transmission and prepare for the 410 I have been building out of those 428 parts. After I got the engine out, it came to light that the engine crossmember was cut out before and only tack welded back into place. I ended up plating and fully welding everything back to normal so that it could drive without being all over the road because everything doesn't flex when it's welded in place.

Too bad she doesn't have a skirt. I also made one for the series 29 which. I love pink, so her MOC has pink witches brew. Ɛ:

This is the very first plushie I've ever made. There are some things I really want to improve on for the next one. I couldn't decide between a shiny one and a regular so I made this monstrosity instead.
