Look for my sisters of mercy concert

Last week I got to see the sisters of mercy and had a lovely time :) Especially Kai was such a pleasure to see live! His stage presence and performance was so much fun to watch which made me check out their band Esprit D'Air which sounds pretty good so far!

My current Alyosha build, still a WIP!

Hii everyone!

I've been working on my Alyosha build and thought I'd share my current setup. I really enjoy his character, playstyle and got really lucky with my pulls for him! I think I've never been luckier when it comes to pulling for 4* constellations. Was able to C6 him in 77 pulls!

What came first for you? "Fiction" or Identity?

Hiii! I'm wondering in which way you've found out that you are fictionkin:

Were you aware about your identity and then about your kin or were you first aware about your kin and then your identity? I'm curious to know what your experiences are ^^

WARNING SCAM COMMISSIONS

I want to raise awareness about the artist shown below since her commissions are not what they are advertising them to be. She takes payment via gift cards, therefore making charge backs impossible, traces her art and doesn't include her clients requests. I've made a thread on twitter explaining my points in more detail with proof:

Please be careful!

Will I be able to get a Jacob's ladder piercing?

Ever since knowing about this piercing I wanted to get a Jacob's ladder done. It's a series of horizontal frenum piercings along the underside of the shaft. I haven't seen such piercings or any kind of variant of it on assets of my kind yet so I've been wondering if it's even possible.

I'm 22 and on my 6th antidepressant. Has anyone else tried out a similar number around my age?

Hii, so I just turned 22 in April, am currently on my 5th and 6th antidepressant and was put on antidepressants when I was freshly 15. So I've been on them for 7ish years now if you ignore the few months I just went cold turkey 💀.

I have many friends that also struggle with mental health issues and have been put on medication at a young age (the majority of them in their early teens I'd say). I know that it's normal to try out different medications and that you kinda have to figure out what works for you. However everyone I've talked to seemed to have tried like 2 or 3 different antidepressants until they found their match. I haven't found anyone around my age yet that has been on a similar amount which makes me wonder how common it is to have been multiple antidepressants at my age?

To provide more context for my history with antidepressants I've explained it down below. Not important to answer my question, feel free to skip it.

My history with antidepressants

At 15 I was first put on Escitalopram which caused me to have some unpleasant side effects such as insomnia. The doctors in charge didn't believe me when I told them that my insomnia got worse with my medication/told me it's not a possible side effect (which is false, 9%-14% on Escitaloprame experience insomnia at some point as a side effect). As a result I was put on Mirtazapine to help with the Insomnia. Since I was also experiencing bad side effects on Mirtazapine I was taken off it after maybe half a year? (I can't remember the exact timeframe, I'm sorry) So I returned to be on Escitalopram only.

Since I began to experience bursts of anxiety/panic which eventually became full blown panic attacks I was prescribed Chlorprothixene as an emergency medication for my bursts of anxiety/panic. I took it once, passed out around half an hour later and couldn't remember the evening I took it and became paranoid as a result so I was too scared to take it again. I think I was maybe 16 at that time?

To deal with my panic attacks I was prescribed Lorazepam as emergency medication and eventually ended on a first dosage of 2,5mg and a final dosage of 5mg should the first one not stop my panic attack. Thankfully I haven't had to take them for 3+ years which I'm really glad about.

The next antidepressants I was put on was Seroquel as an off label which led to the worst side effects I've ever experienced so I was taken off it again.

On my last appointment with the doctors responsible for my medication as a minor they said they can't exactly tell why the medication isn't working but that it may be due to my weight (50kg/110lbs). This was never mentioned before and I've been in treatment with them for 3 years at that point during which my lowest weight was 42kg/92,6lbs so I basically was at my highest weight when I received that information. I continued taking Escitaloprame until I went cold turkey at the end of 2024.

After my last appointment with them I had to switch to a different doctor for my medication since I've turned 18 in 2022. I made an appointment with a psychiatrist wishing to figure out the right medication for me but he told me that's not his job and offered to prescribe Lorazepam which I declined since this wasn't what I came for and General Practitioner/Family Doctor (I hope this is the correct translation - basically the go-to-doctor you visit when you can't go to work/have the flu or something). Since the psychiatrist was an incredible unpleasant individual and wasn't offering the treatment I was looking for I didn't schedule another appointment with him.

At the end of 2024 I was so frustrated and pissed off by the way my medical treatment had been going that I took the opportunity to quit my medication when I was visiting a friend since I didn't feel controlled/forced to take my medication while I wasn't at home.

As you can imagine that was a shitty idea so I went to my General Practitioner around January of 2025 who prescribed me Zoloft which I've been happily taking since then. At the same time I began looking for a therapist again and I began my second therapy mid 2025 with my current therapist who I am also happy with. She referred me to the psychiatrist who's also working in her office since I've mentioned my hunch of possibly having AD(H)D I've had since I was 15. During the appointment with the psychiatrist I was diagnosed with ADHD and prescribed me Lisdexamfetamine which I've also been taken since then. At my last check up with my psychiatrist a few weeks ago he added Bupropion to the mix which results in my current medication being: Zoloft, Lisdexamfetamine and Bupropion which seems to be working for me.

Now my questions are: Is this just the common way treatment with antidepressants goes? Are there others with similar experiences? Have my first doctors made mistakes or was I just unlucky?

Thank you very much in advance for taking the time to read through my post/leave a reply. Hope you have a great day 🫶🖤
