My cat has licked her entire stomach hair off

First things first. I booked a vet appointment for tomorrow. This is becoming very costly but I can’t stand to see my fur baby licking herself to naked mole rat eventually. Also I am exhausted from vacuuming and steaming.

Elsa is 4 years old. She eats friskies wet food. Shredded with gravy to be exact. It’s her favorite she’s a gravy girl through and through. During the day she eats a small bowl of hard food and for dinner at 8pm she gets half a can of wet food.

I have tried buying her the most expensive cat food so that she can get all natural ingredients and eat super healthy but she won’t touch it. I bought a $8 dollar can one time that had shredded chicken etc etc and she didn’t have a bite. She just smells it and walks away lol.

Because of all the licking and rubbing against furniture I took her to the vet and the vet said it’s probably fleas ? She’s an indoor cat btw. I’ve taken her 3 times.

We got her flea treatment from the vet and for some reason that burnt her neck and she got a scab.. oh my poor baby I feel so bad 😢.. the flea treatment clearly didn’t work as she’s still licking her belly and her paws.

Her belly is just pink no hair and her paws a bit of hair but also almost all gone..
this has been ongoing for a while I’m taking her to the vet again tomorrow.

Could this be an allergy to fleas ? Could it be her food? Could it be something else? Has this happened to anyone before ? I’m going to post some pictures here of her body parts that she has licked. Also just now I noticed she has a scab in her ear. That wasn’t there last night.

Grew out my hair for nothing. I AM MORTIFIED

My longtime hairdresser left the country, so I've been searching for someone new for the past 10 months.
My hair had grown out beautifully and was mostly virgin hair (other than the old blonde on the ends), so I was excited because I knew it would be a great starting point. The last photo is my inspiration, and during the consultation she confidently told me she could achieve that result in one session.

I actually found this stylist through a girl I met at a wedding. She had gorgeous blonde highlights, and since she also has naturally dark Middle Eastern hair, I figured her stylist would know how to lift dark hair properly. She gave me the stylist's contact information.
Before my appointment, I went in for a consultation. She examined my hair, felt the condition of it, and was extremely confident. She told me she specialized in blondes, had been doing hair for decades, had previously owned a salon, and assured me she could give me exactly what I wanted.

The day of my appointment, I was still being extra cautious and even asked her to do a strand test because I'm very particular about who touches my hair. She agreed, so I felt even more confident moving forward.
I also asked her what toner she planned on using—whether it would be Redken (the brand I'm familiar with) or another professional brand. Instead of telling me, she simply said, "It doesn't matter what toner I use as long as it removes the remaining yellow." That answer caught me off guard because I was genuinely just trying to understand her process.

Instead, my hair was completely botched.
The photos speak for themselves. I was absolutely mortified after the first appointment. She told me not to worry and promised she would fix everything at my second appointment.
She didn't.
The roots are still uneven because the foils were clearly not placed close enough to my scalp, so I was left with a noticeable band of darker root. The orange around the front of my face is still there, and the overall blonde is patchy and unfinished instead of seamless like my inspiration photo.

On top of that, my hair experienced noticeable breakage during the process, which was incredibly upsetting because it was in such healthy condition beforehand.
During the blow-dry, she was also so aggressive with a Revlon blow-dryer brush that I eventually asked if I could finish drying my own hair because I was worried about how much tension and pulling was being put on my hair.
At this point, I honestly don't know what to do. I did everything I could to be careful—I booked a consultation, asked for a strand test, discussed my inspiration photos in detail, and even asked questions about her products because I wanted to understand the process. She confidently assured me she could achieve my goal, but after two appointments, my hair still has dark roots, orange pieces around my face, uneven lifting, and breakage.

I’m so disappointed and just very very sad. 😔

I've spent 9 months unable to decide... blonde or brown? 😭

Need some help and advice on a VERY serious matter, everyone!!

I've accidentally been growing out my natural dark brown hair for 9 months because I keep changing my mind every time I think about booking an appointment. 😭
Current situation: I have grown-out blonde highlights, so my hair is kind of a brown/blonde mix right now.

Here's my problem:
When I watch The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, I see Bridget's gorgeous long blonde hair and immediately think, "Yep. Blonde for summer. Case closed."

But then I watch Gossip Girl, see Blair Waldorf looking all polished, elegant, and expensive, and suddenly I'm convinced I need to dye it fully dark brown. 😩
For reference, I have very fair skin but tan pretty well in the summer. Blonde always made me feel glowy and beachy, but brown feels healthier, richer, and more put together.
So Reddit, I need you to settle this once and for all:
🔥 Blonde or brown?

Bonus points if you tell me:
Which is more attractive in your opinion?

Which gets the best reactions overall?

What vibe each color gives off?

And if anyone has actual statistics on hair-color preferences, I will happily accept them as evidence in this highly scientific debate.

Please include a short explanation for your vote because I am clearly incapable of making this decision myself. 😂
