Hi! It’s been so long since I’ve bought a new deck. In the age of generated images I’m uncomfortable just browsing online.
I have a dear friend who wants me to buy him a tarot deck to start learning. I’m of the belief you only need one deck, so to avoid overconsumption I’m trying to get him one unique deck that can serve him for a long time. His favorite color is green, so I was thinking the Verdance Tarot. However the art might be too ethereal for his taste? Anyways, if anyone has any suggestions I’d love to hear! Thank you :)

There’s a guy who is kinda short and I think homeless cus he smells bad who I’ve passed 4 times now over the course of maybe 2 months in completely different locations. He stops in his tracks to stare at me, kisses his fist and raises it while staring daggers at me. Does he just do that to people? Didn’t think much of it until the 4th time. Case for concern or just a strange guy? Lol.

Roomate (22F) and I (24F) found an apartment we like a lot in humbolt park and decided to apply. wanted to get an idea of the area, since we cant go see it ourselves. We walk everywhere and dont have a car but the busses there seem reliable? I've heard negative things abt chicago & kenzie, which is like 3 blocks away from the apartment and where we would probably grocery shop?

Both of us are from queens so we arent strangers to the homeless though unsure if the ones in chicago are trickier to deal with than just ignoring them like u do in nyc..

Before you ask no we dont have a budget to go somewhere "nicer" haha (americorps ftw!). we are both making like 2k a month. Well.. we are keeping an eye out incase but this location seems to be a good fit.

Anyways trying to get an idea of it over google maps isnt helping much lol. Is it walkable? I wanna be able to walk to get coffee or to a library or smth. Im used to like an hour commute so that doesnt bother me. what are the train stations like? Idk.. anything is helpful! Thanks :))
