Fun Fact: Godzilla X Kong Supernova (2027) is being written by David Callaham, who also wrote for Godzilla (2014)

He was also a helping hand in writing screenplays for Across The Spiderverse (2023), Shang-Chi (2021), Zombieland Doubletap (2019) & Wonder-Woman 84' (2020).

I don't think Kong's upgrades automatically put him above other monsters in combat, but rather so he can simply defend himself without dying so quickly against powerful threats.

He couldn't (and currently doesn't) outclass Godzilla on merely any metric, and I think its silly to assume a goofy upgrade is enough to surpass multiple threats rather than just acting as defense for the time being
