Spouse pitched TV show, is not in the media. What now?

My spouse isn't on Reddit and we've not got any media connection barring the one mentioned shortly. Thought this might be the best place to look for advice.

Through a friend my wife has told a TV company about an idea she's had and they seem to love it. Channels are being mentioned for them to take it to, some foreign. We are not media people at all. We know the chances of anything happening are slim but if someone wants it, realistically what happens? We just don't want to be in a position where she's responsible for the next big thing but ends up getting shafted.

Thanks.

You're a higher up at Radio 4. Cuts mean you have to can one of the legacy panel shows. Which one goes?

Hypothetically, "Sorry I Haven't a Clue", "Just A Minute", "The News Quiz" and "The Unbelievable Truth" are on the chopping block, off to join "The Now Show". A combined 330 series of radio. Which one goes off the air if you're in charge?

edit: I must say that I not a higher up at Radio 4 and this is not a litmus test to see what we/they should get rid of

Temp contract extended for third time, by two weeks

Started working for M&S at the end of Feb, temp contract to end of April. In the middle of April I was told I'd be kept on until the start of June. In the middle of May I was told I'd been extended again until the end of July. Now I've been told they want to extend me again until the middle of August. It all just feels a bit ridiculous at this stage. How many more of these extensions can they do? I can understand extending by a month and then two months, but then another one of two weeks just seems silly. Could someone explain? Are they on the fence about keeping me on? Is this standard practice in lieu of having a "probation"? I'm tempted to turn it down unless they offer me a longer extension.

What's this thing that fell off my car? ('11 Astra)

My wife was driving down the motorway and this fell off the car was was dragged down the road until she could pull over. The roadside assistance guy said he'd never seen anything like it, thinks it might be some sort of disability modification. Likewise my brother who was a trainee mechanic has never seen something like this. It seems to have come from the back of the car but even looking underneath myself there's nothing out of the ordinary.

There's electrical wires that have been cut at some point. The car works perfectly (as far as we are aware) and my wife has done a 300 mile drive in it today with no complaints.

What is it?

These effin World Cup stickers

Intervention on SCOTs "Oh, do I get something free?" Yes, it's World Cup stickers. "Why would I want those?" I've no clue sir, honestly I don't.

Some of the responses I've had to asking people if they want these stickers border on the insane.

"I don't like football." "I'll only throw them away, I'm trying to save the planet" said with a straight face using an Amazon MasterCard.
