If you're against birthright citizenship, what do you think should determine citizenship?

The Supreme Court ruled today that birthright citizenship is legal, so if you're born in the US, you're a citizen. News reports are labeling this as going against what Trump wants, and I've looked at some previous comments on this reddit page and it appears that a lot of you guys are against it too. If you're against that, what do you think should determine citizenship, and why?

First Time Owner/Buyer, Need Advice

I'm a first-time gun buyer/owner looking for some advice. My main goal is home security, and we also just got Ring cameras.

I'm also planning to register for some firearms training courses as soon as I can find one with availability. It's been a little difficult finding classes in my area. It's gonna take me 2 hours to get to the store, which is why I'm pre-ordering it so it's ready when I get there and the 72hr period is over.

Budget is somewhat of a factor, so I'm trying to stay under about $600 per handgun.

Based on my situation, which two would you recommend and why? If there are any on the list you'd avoid, I'd appreciate hearing that too. Also, if you have any good ammunition recommendations for glocks, I'd appreciate it! I'm new so all the terminology has me overwhelmed.

Thanks!

Edit #1: I'm getting a lot of Glock and CZ responses. I may only be able to afford one, which do you think would be better in this situation?

Edit #2: I found a place much closer! I'm going tomorrow to talk employees about a Glock 43X & CZ P-10, seeing what they suggest and how it feels in my hand, then purchasing and coming back in 72 hours to pick up, and registering for some of the educational classes and shooting ranges they offer. Thank you for your help & suggestions.

Why do people immediately archive posts then unarchive them a few days later?

I don't get the point? Also, a lot of the archive/unarchived posts have their comments turned off. Why are so many people doing that? I love when people see & comment on my posts.

For those who live in Blue states: What's your experience been like?

Do you feel comfortable expressing your views? Do you ever lie about your views or vote when asked? I feel like a significant amount of young men lie about who they voted for on dating/hookup apps. And is it a big city like Chicago, LA, NYC, etc., a suburb, or small town? I know bigger cities tend to be the most blue while smaller towns are more likely to be red. Do you dislike a lot of the left-leaning stuff your mayor/governor does?

As a left-leaning person in a big city and with no Trump supporting friends (to my knowledge), I'm just super interested in hearing your experiences!
