My dachshund will not do #2 outside

Hello! In the last month my boyfriend and I moved in with each other to a new place. With that, we brought my 3 cats and my 10 year old dachshund. Overall, everything seems to be going well. However, my girl WILL NOT go #2 outside. It’s a court yard outside my townhouse apartment & I see plenty of dogs going outside, so I’m sure she smells them, but it’s exhausting to have to clean up after every day multiple times a day. She will pee outside & I’ll stay out an extra 10 minutes to wait. She won’t do anything & then when she gets inside she’ll poop shortly after. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Should cat still be shedding a lot the same day as a deshed?

I just had my cat groomed today at a new spot that does cat grooming. I’ve never had a cat groomed, but recently decided due to moving to a new place & her excessive shedding that’d it’d be best. Well, you can kind of see the spot next to her left ear that there’s a small clump of shedding fur just floating near her left ear. I barely pulled it and a whole clump came out. Is this normal? When she got out of her crate afterwards at home there was A LOT of fur in her crate, but I just assumed it to be there from when I dropped her off initially.

Pushing to pee is bad for you & I’ve been doing it for 25 years.

Recently I learned that pushing to pee is not good for you & I can’t unlearn how to do it. All this week I’ve actively tried to pee naturally & nothing comes out, like I have to physically push to be able to pee. This may be such a stupid thing to ask, but has anyone else had this problem & how did you teach yourself not to?

Is 7 years old too old to start using a collar with a tag on my cat?

My cat has always been an inside cat with an apartment that doesn’t have a door that leads directly outside. However, he is quick and sometimes rushes past me to get out into the hallway we have currently.

My bf and I are expected to move in together into a townhome possibly soon, so obviously if he rushes out the door it will be outside & he won’t have a clue of the area to find his way back home. I want to try a break away collar and a tag just incase, but I wasn’t sure if I missed that window as he’s grown his whole 7 years of life without one. I could just go ahead and try it, but wanted to see if anyone had experience with this? Thank you for reading!❤️

Edit: I ordered a blue cat collar with black embroidery of his name & my phone number to take away the excess tag incase the rattling of it is too much for him. Lol

Is it a common thing for an apartment building to ask for you to show your ID & send a selfie when scheduling an appointment for a Showing [OH]

This place I’ve been looking at has a site that makes you create an account & then to schedule a showing you have to show proof of ID & then take a selfie before getting the chance to schedule a date and time. I come from a small rural town & didn’t know if I should expect to see this more often as I’m looking into a much bigger city.

It’s my first festival for this genre of music & all the styles I’ve been seeing are not ideal for my body type. I wasn’t sure if anyone had any past looks/ideas. ❤️
