this has been a problem on remarkable since llms introduced

Remarkable need to make a simple API for their export PDF option on the remarkable desktop app.

It's ridiculous. We have all these dodgy box apis to get all the raw files, recreate the images etc.. rmapi and such..

There is a perfect export option available in the mobile app and desktop app. Why can these not be API'able?

Why is it important. Right, well take the most common example where people want to sync remarkable notes to their obsidian or LLMs. people have to hack these ugly solutions, where as if remarkable had a simple export pdf api and whatever else they wanted to include, suddenly we can now export pdf in backend, we can run mistral AI on this, we can save this into obsidian and have both reference points of handwrittten and raw text.

TAkes on this?

The Ying-Yang of Deciding to Be Better

i've made a breakthrough in my frame of thinking. and i hope it can help someone else. these are my raw thoughts, not chatgpt voodoo.

Left are the ying, right are the yang.

  • Arenas VS Temples
  • Fired Up VS Grounded
  • Ego VS Self
  • Action VS Reflection
  • Proof VS Theory

they are emerging patterns of the struggles and questions i've been asking myself. and we know life is all about the balance. too much temples, grounded, self leads to disconnection and if isolation occurs its a self-belief killer.

My arenas are my work, my sports, my learning, this is where I will fight!!! My temples are my bed, my sauna, my yoga nidra, my nature walks these are the things that bring me to ground, recovery me up, help me reflection and align to deepest self.

You know I see this fight and balancing act in so many places in life. take even the consumer product whoop. It's Strain VS Recovery.

Find your arenas to fulfil yourself in, and find the temples to recover in.

Have a beautiful July and rest of 2026 folks. I wish all of you the best of luck, we got this

Norway rest 10 players based on whoop stats?

I mean Norways move in the world cup resting 10 players shows the shift and prioritization of recovery. I know haaland wears a whoop. You'd wonder was in the red/yellow and they want him green and kicking for the big knockout stages. Get him mega carb loaded 😂

I remember seeing an NFL dashboard of all the players trends on health scores, recovery, strain, load, etc... you'd wonder are the elite teams using whoop or advanced wearables to track this stuff.

In order for Polymathic Greatness, I believe True Mindfulness Should be Understood

hi all,

i found this one pager online from Jon Kabit Zinn. I recently read his book Wherever You Go, There you are. and look the ultimate goal of mindfulness is to become present and absorb in the present, be content with where we are, the observer of the crushing and thundering waves of thoughts that can be so overwhelmingly, they don't disappear. This page gives a refreshing summary from himself.

Why is this related to polymaths? Well, becuase in order to master yourself, you must master your mind. Using mindfulness especailly when you get past 23-26 years old is a very crucial thing.

Hmmm Whoop took some inspiration with Strava, but get it in whoop progress tab!

Made this post 6 months ago or so, just a concept I thought was really cool. https://www.reddit.com/r/whoop/s/lB7CaTywf0

Looks really similar to what I had done up, still would be cool if we could see the heat map based on past 3 months or whatever. Just to show where we are hitting high muscular load.

Colorful sticky teriyaki stirfry

I was proud with how this turned out. Thought the picture was so aesthetically pleasing. Insanely healthy too!

Garlic ginger. Chicken. Sticky teriyaki. Keep the veg on crunchier side for me. Broccoli, red & orange peppers, green beans. Add final bit of sauce. And red onions for last 30 seconds on high heat. God it was fantastic. I added chilli flakes too, I got very luck with this one 😂😂

GFL - Gaelic Football PS5 game - Lets collect the improvements!

New Gaelic football game came out on PS5, I want to get the overall picture and see what the most common feedback is. Don't be a reddit spoofer and just say its trash, give some constructive feedback. No game has ever got it write first time. I'll use AI in a few days to summarize the key components! Be brutal but precise at least 😂😂 overall i think they need to make the game way faster feedback for everything and simplify certain elements because how advanced the controls are doesnt match how the gameplay feels..... they should be hand in hand.

Pros:

- Very similar to FIFA navigating through the menus, selecting teams etc..

- It's not that hard to score once you get the hang of it

- the wind visual is quite cool imo

Cons:

- the whole soloing / autosoloing is too complicated for the most commonly thing thats done in the game. steps being called too often in some of my first games.

- handpassing is hit / miss. sometimes works smooths. sometimes they just stop, wont pass it and i know other people have complained. if they are going old school, it needs to feel fast.

- the minimap doesnt fade when people are under it....

- the sprinting is hilarious, out of nowhere someone will just take off like a bullet, and even still im like how do i use r1 this is confusing.

- why not go with fifa controls essentially like most players will be used to. o to low kick. square for high kick. triangle for through ball. x for handpass. r2 spint, dont know why the controls are so complicated..

- its a shame there is no real players in it, kind of takes away the feel of the game when theres no connection to the real players. i know they cant control this but it is a sickener. like youd love to be donegal and hoof it into mickey murphy.

Overall, i'd be like simplify the controls. So that you can improve the mechanics and incrementally add things. like how FIFA did when they added their finesse shot after 6 years development etc.. What do other people want to add :D
