I have a vacation home in Mammoth Lakes and spend summers there. I ordered something online using my street address for delivery. The vendor shipped it via DHL. DHL handed the package of to the USPS for delivery. Problem is without a PO Box, Mammoth Lakse Post office just returns the package because there is to postal delivery in this town. I don’t have a PO Box since this is not my permanent address and I get UOS and FedEx deliveries all the time. Why doesn’t DHL know that a packaged shipped to Mammoth Lakes without a PO Box in the address will just get returned. The should either reject the shipment when placed or never transfer the package to the USPS. Very poor practice in their part. Very disappointing in their shipping service.

Had a bit of a mishap mountain biking and I just want to give a huge shout out to the mountain patrol at Main and all the staff at Mammoth Hospital. You are all just awesome caregivers and supportive of us crazies that just want to get out there and enjoy what the mountain throws at us. Special thanks to Michelle at Maine Lodge Patrol (super nice and helpful), and Nurse Jamie (sorry if the spelling is wrong) at the ER, Mammoth Hospital. You made my situation something I could better deal with. And the rest of everyone I dealt with, you made this not so fun situation something better. So thank you
