Asymmetrical Breaststroke
Breaststroke is my preferred style for timed swim, but I'm just now starting to realize how awful I am at it :/
Whenever I kick, I slant a tinnnyy bit and go to one side. From what I can tell, either my right leg is weaker than my left, or I'm not kicking at the same time.
I'm leaning towards the weaker leg theory as I have consciously tried to kick at the same time, and my left calf is noticeably tougher in feel than my right. I'm 100% right-legged, though, as I much, much, much prefer it in soccer and such, which is confusing me.
Anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

The circle is vertical. For the vertical circle, the max tension in the string is 15.0% larger than the tension that exists when the circle is horizontal.
Draw two free-body diagrams of the stone in the vertical circle (at the point where the tension is maximum) and the horizontal circle
For the horizontal one, I drew a dot, Fg force straight down, and a tension force greater than the Fg force to the left
For the vertical, I drew an Fg force straight down and a Tension force greater than the Fg force up.
Is this correct?

Will my 20Kv diode survive?
I currently have a 20 kV-rated diode and want to run a 12 kV neon sign transformer through it.
Math-wise, that's about 17 kV, I think, which is a 15% difference. I asked Google, and it's shouting at me not to do this. Is it unsafe or safe......

I don't have much passion, and I feel I'm leaning towards engineering because my relatives are ALL management engineers in the U.S., which means MONEY if I do eng......
Problem is I don't like math and physics. All of Functions and 60% of physics was soooo boring. In law and geo, I barely put any work outside of class; speaking, debating, and memorizing that stuff just clicked because it was enjoyable. The only thing more important than job enjoyment is MONEY.
I WAS deadset on becoming a virologist but got spooked about how hard it is to get into med school.
Now I'm just lost. Should I cheese everything with summer and night, and risk flunking first year? Should I not do eng? Should I do pre-med?
Really appreciate any advice from someone who's been in my position.

I know for sure it's not the last one; I can't figure out if it's 1 or 2. I'm leaning towards 1, but 2 is still sticking to the back of my mind.
This question doesn't spoon-feed me about what's included in the system. Is it just the person, the person and earth, the person + earth + atmosphere???
Can you guys break it down, or is it really just square in square hole and I'm overcomplicating it?

Questions: I'm wondering if the resistor I plan to use is suitable for this project. I posted all the attributes of it below.
Also, will my resistor need a heat sink, or is that not necessary? I watched a video with a very similar resistor, and he had no heat sink, just the connections.

Nuclear or Mechanical or Electrical?
I'm a high school student in Ontario and am deciding if I should take nuclear engineering at Ontario Tech or try to get a standard electrical/mechanical degree at a better known uni.
IMPORTANT: I'm lucky enough to have great connections in the U.S. (Relative is VP of a mechatronics/mechanical manufacturing-based company)
So if I do go mech/elec, I can prob TN-Visa and make WAYY more money there than here. I need to ask them if they hire nuclear engineers, but I'd assume no, and Ontario Tech isn't well known in the States.
I much prefer nuclear engineering's curriculum/am just more passionate about learning it, but I feel I'm just dropping an opportunity people would kill for into a bonfire. Nuclear is the best it's been, really EVER in Ontario, but salaries here just don't match the U.S.
The only position I see here that even comes close to matching regular U.S engineer salaries is becoming a NOIT and then NO, but that's REEEEAAALLLLLYYYYYYY competitive.
God, I have so many questions:
Is getting a job in the U.S as a nuclear engineer easy, heard it's hard(er)?
Is becoming a NO in the States possible?
Is becoming an NO here too competitive to outweigh just going to the states?
Is learning nuclear engineering fun, or is it actually hell, and I'm only thinking about the good stuff?

Gambit doesn't work in 15 + 10 :(
I've made the change to 15+10 (From 5+0)and noticed that the gambits I learned all the lines to don't work nearly as well anymore. (Mostly Halloween Gambit)
No more Halloween life : ( or are people in 15 + 10 just better overall?
(Not talking about those gams where you sac a pawn to get a tiny positional advantage in 50 moves or wtv)
Handing job app in person vs online?
I'm 16 right now and trying to get a part-time job for the summer. (Got summer school, so can't do full-time)
I took the advice that handing in an app in person was "better", but the 6 times I did that, all 6 times they just referred me back to the online application portal. (Didn't even glance at the app)
Is it even worth the time to go in person, or should I just spam as many apps online?
