how do waitlists work?
Do they check stats again or just go down and accept whoever?

Both are great rn, basically interchangeable in Ontario, but I'm still wondering which is better for me.
My main concern is how it impacts work in the U.S and TN Visa because that's where the $$$ is. What do you guys think is elec or nuke better to go to the U.S for work?
I had rlly bad grade 11 grades so my average was always sitting between 70-80 no matter how high my grade 12 grades got but with midterms now uploaded my top is @ a 95% and i'm finally getting my first couple offers, (tmu, uottawa eng) they are still safeties but atleast I have somewhere to go now!
I saw a picture the other day of placement rates at UW eng and there weren't as high as i expected, especially since it's marketed as "gauranteed". It might have been first year only tbf, I dont really remeber, but most popular engs had like 40-50% (mech, elec), CS had 65%, which is more so what i expected for all the engs.
People still say other schools are worse does than a school like uoft, mac, queens, western all have like <20%
