I think Walmart might be a bit confused 😂

Found an old copy of the VHS movie and noticed 3/4 of the pics on the side were Donnie. Found it kind of funny (it brings to mind the Leo/Donnie trading card mixup too)

To anyone looking for the Japanese version of IMOQ Limited Run Games store has 3/4 of them waiting for you

My dad worked for Safeway in the dairy dept. when Godzilla came out, and Breyers gave him a pair og promotional gloves to advertise their movie tie-in flavor (Godzilla Vanilla). He didn't want them, so he gave them to me. Still work great for handling frozen items

Sanyo vcr 6300 betacord loading tray doesn't appear to go all the way forward: the inside flap doesn't reach where the outside flap is when you open it to put tape in (see video) I can manually lower it, but it doesn't go all the way down (even when I manage to get a tape inside)

Machine powers on and display works fine.

I know that it is, most likely, either a degraded belt(s) and/or switch/circuit, but i am not as familiar with beta so I don't want to mess it up do to ignorance.

I've got only one beta tape (which I'm trying to digitize) so I don't want to risk testing it further until I know that it's fixed.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. If anyone in southern Virginia has a working one i can rent/borrow that would work too

Some big train fan is apparently selling off their collection at an antique mall (they're even selling booklets that the conductors used) located in Roanoke, VA

Just finished rewatching The Defenders and saw another very relatable moment

Rewatching Iron Fist and was called out by the show

Sorry that this isn't quite a meme, but this sub seems a lot more supportive than r/autism, and I need some help finding resources/studies.

The long and short of it is I work night shift, and my boss told me not to interact with coworkers when I have a problem because "they don't understand your tone and find your body language intimidating" I took that as "don't talk to them" since then I have brought issues to him instead , but all he can do is "send an email" the person on day shift that uses my machine keeps leaving trash, food wrappers (with residue on it) and drink containers (usually opened with liquid still inside) since nothing changes, I left a note for the person telling him he needs to clean up after himself. The behavior stopped instantly. A few days later (last night) I got reprimanded for it and chewed out because he told me "not to interact with the others" when I mentioned that, due to the context/reasons he gave, I interpreted it as "don't talk to anyone" he played into me accusing me of trying to skirt the issue, and using my autism to make excuses. Because to me there was a distinction.

The reason I need help is that he said "I have an autistic son so I know more than most about autism" and refused to even consider that I, an actual aspie who has lived with it my whole life, might know more about it than him. I need some studies or doctor/specialist interviews showing that the way things are phrased, and certain words being left out can completely change the way someone on the spectrum understands things.

Sorry for how long this is, but any help finding resources before I talk to HR tonight is greatly appreciated

Not only did they put THE song in Masters of the Universe, but if you look inside the bucket....

For anyone looking, Infection is at the McKays in Winston-Salem NC right now for $41.95

For anyone near Winston-Salem NC, the McKays there has most of the books in the series, and they're selling for a couple of bucks each. But what makes it more worth it is that a few of the volumes still have the promotional bookmarks, iron on logos, and (as pictured) the foil stickers.

Before anyone asks, I'm just passing thru, so I won't be able to grab anything for anyone. Sorry 😞

Apparently someone who worked on the new Lego batman game is a Max Headroom fan

Found this dvd on the horror dvd site Tape Rot Home Video. Thought it was one of the best catfish marketing ideas: a family show from the 80's that many people don't know anything anything about disguised as the Terminator's little sister

It's only a matter of time before I get a pack that is all the same card
