Just grade a weird fantasy/genre film in black and white 16mm with splashes of color.
Conan's life at different stages is shown with a different aesthetic and rhythm from the Sumerian era to the near future.Traveling through the abyss, underworld dog Rainer recounts the six lives of Conann, perpetually put to death by her own future, across eras, myths and ages. From her childhood, a slave of Sanja and her barbarian horde, to her accession to the summits of cruelty at the doors of our world.
I'm really curious to see how mixed this bag is. Gummo might very well be the most Divisive film ever. Its definitely up there on the border between polarizing art and pretentious garbage. I personally love the film for its weird unique one of a kind experience as well as seeing beauty in the most disgusting places, but I know opinions will differ.

In a future world devastated by disease, a convict is sent back in time to gather information about the man-made virus that wiped out most of the human population on the planet.
Classic Terry Gilliam imo but im still mixed on how I feel about this film there are things I love but also don't fully understand which may be the point...but I digress, what are your thoughts?
A retired vigilante with one eye helps a beautiful young mother fight a cannibalistic drug lord and his evil goons.
The closest thing i can compare this too is a lower budget Hobo with a Shotgun...not quite as good as hobo but still pretty decent.
A married couple named Raoul and Alex leave their luxury skyscraper condo every night to dive into the electric nightlife of 1980s Los Angeles. They meet a mysterious figure named Nameless and her hard-partying group, pulling them into a surreal world of excess, pleasure, and violence.
Knowing what we do about the man and his work including Beyond the Black Rainbow and Mandy are you excited for this? I personally cant wait to see what he will do next!!
The Assassin travels through a nightmare underworld of tortured souls, ruined cities and wretched monstrosities forged from the primordial horrors of the unconscious mind of Phil Tippett, the world's preeminent stop-motion animator.
Personally I love this film but its a weird one to unpack for the uninitiated in phil tippets work. Completely original stop motion nightmare fuel!

One of Clive Barkers weirdest creations..there's the main plot which is weird by itselfbut the subplot makes it even stranger. This movie is 90s awesomeness with some great practical makeup effects and a guest appearance from the man himself David Cronenberg!! Great nostalgia film for anyone who grew up with syndication!
In 1983, a young mute woman with psychic abilities is held captive within the Arboria Institute, a secluded futuristic facility run by a sinister doctor with an unraveling mind and a growing obsession with her.
A film by Panos Cosmatos the Director of Mandy. Unlike anything you've seen before or after it. A neon drenched, synth scored oppressive nightmare that's as odd as lovecraftian cosmic dread
Scientists on the 13th floor of a corporate tower use a supercomputer to run a 1937 Los Angeles simulation populated by conscious computer-generated entities.
When project leader Hannon Fuller is murdered, his colleague Douglas Hall becomes the prime suspect and has no memory of the night's events.

Maybe not as weird now as it was upon released. This gem was way ahead of its time in ideas but was overshadowed by the stylistic matrix films. This odd gem should be discussed more.
In order to save her siblings, a young woman takes on her father and the powerful entity known as Gamemaster, who ensnares humans into diabolical plots while her species gambles on the outcome...it blends a brutal, family-revenge slasher plot with a surreal, cosmic time-loop game overseen by interdimensional gamblers.
Great gem of a film all stop motion animation with some good voice actors
A puppeteer discovers a portal that leads literally into the head of movie star John Malkovich.
Classic film most people know about but I hadn't seen it posted yet. This is a fun weird ass wild ride.
As the human species adapts to a synthetic environment, the body undergoes new transformations and mutations. With his partner Caprice (Léa Seydoux), Saul Tenser (Viggo Mortensen), celebrity performance artist, publicly showcases the metamorphosis of his organs in avant-garde performances. Timlin (Kristen Stewart), an investigator from the National Organ Registry, obsessively tracks their movements, which is when a mysterious group is revealed... Their mission -- to use Saul's notoriety to shed light on the next phase of human evolution.
Possibly the weirdest film Cronenberg has made (and thats saying something) though it is timely and reflects the society we live in today. This film is odd on all levels but if you get it you get it and it makes perfect sense. If you dont get it your like wtf did I just watch. I love all Cronenberg films Father or Son.

Weird unique gem that is a love letter to the sound engineers who are often overlooked but that make our films great in thier contributions as well as a love letter to exploitive Italian horror cinema. What an odd film.
