What’s a good grease for the odometer cable?

Took out my instrument cluster to replace some lightbulbs and fix the potentiometer but while I have it out, I’m probably gonna remove the old grease for the odometer cable. I’m wondering what’s a good Greece would be to replace it

Be honest, how much of the pain is this gonna be to fix or replace whatever this layer is

Not sure what it’s made of I don’t think it’s metal but it feels metallic. You can see on the top where a chunk ray came out.

Will these mods actually help with fuel efficiency?

So I got an email from bike Barry. Take me to this page for fuel efficiency https://www.bikeberry.com/blogs/learning-center/how-to-get-improved-motorized-bike-gas-mileage and I’m wondering if any of you have any experience with these mods from what I looked up the boost bottle is a joke for performance but I’m wondering if it actually does help with bogging and if the high-performance CDI actually makes the bike start quicker any advice would be appreciated
