I have a frog aquarium in a sunless basement with inexpensive grow lights as it's only light source. This aquarium regularly produces leaves like these as well as other plants.

I love growing Spider plants in water.

Loves light and loves water, this is growing in a vase with soil and no drainage. It's been growing like this a couple of years now.
