Hi everyone! I've made up my mind to buy an EV, and I'd really appreciate some help from people with real-world experience. My main concern is charging time. Not the cost, and not all the kW calculations, happy to skip all that unless it's genuinely essential to explaining the time side of things. I can't charge where I live, so I'd be relying on public charging stations, like the one on the electrical pole near my house, or driving to the nearest shopping centre, which isn't too far. How much time would I realistically spend charging, compared to a quick trip to the petrol station to fill up my current diesel SUV? Thanks so much in advance for any insight. I know this is a bit of a common question, so I appreciate you taking the time to help out!
