Was driving home at 2 am on backroad and my headlights all the sudden turned off. I stopped the car and put it in park, then they came back on. I made it home just fine, but how do I even check this? The lights seem to be good now, but there are no streetlights on these roads, and it's deep in the woods. I just don't want it to happen again. It was freaky. 1998 Grand Marquis
I need to replace my alternator in my 1998 Grand Marquis. How can I tell if it has a D-shaped plug or an oval-shaped plug? Ill post a photo if i need too. I only see the one wire coming from a red stem. It is a round washer that you connect to the alternator with the wire going out to the car. That is the only connection i can see..
I just got a 98 Grand Marquie. The fan that blows the AC or heat out of the vents only works in high; it doesn't even kick on in low or medium settings. Is this a fix I can do, or is it easily replaced?
I have an old pc some of the parts in it are about 10 years old. If I took it apart and cleaned it really well, applied new thermal paste, and put it back together, do you think it would help with the longevity? It is getting a little janky. It boots really slowly. I can't afford anything at this time, but I need it to last another 6 months or so till I can get something new.
