My word game roguelike Lexispell releases on May 29!

Lexispell finally has a release date: May 29!

I'm super excited and I can't wait to get players to try all the things I've fixed, modified and added! Lexispell is a word game roguelike with a physics twist. The letters fall down the cauldron and merge when similar. You buy scrolls to twist the rules and score more but also runes, echantments, potions and wands to help you get the letters you want.

I wanted to make a word game that felt fun and not too nerdy and I think I managed to do something pretty cool!

Lexispell is my third game, and it's quite different from what I did previously. It has been super cool to explore new genre and art style and hope to be able to continue doing what I love for a long time.

I made a video detailing how I easily animate UI in Godot

I know animating UI can be tricky for a lot of us so I decided to share the tips and tricks I use in my game Lexispell. It has a lot of UI and I try my best to make it cool and juicy so I thought I could share what I'm doing to make it easier.

Watch it on youtube and let me know what you think!

The ambiance in our horror game about flipping coins for your life

We just announce O.B.O.L, a game we originally made for the GMTK jam and we're super excited! It's a horror game where you play a cursed game of head or tails.

It's crazy how simple tweens can bring UI to life

Lexispell has a lot of UI so I try my best to make it alive. Simply applying tweens to all the elements when the pause appears makes everything feel so much smooter!

I'm super proud to announce my next game O.B.O.L, a weird game of heads or tails

I said my, but I should have said ours! Woland and I made the first version of O.B.O.L last summer for a jam and we knew we had to make a full version after seeing all the positive comments.

We finally have a Steam page and we're joining the june Steam Next fest with a demo!

O.B.O.L is a game where you're stuck in a claustrophobic rusty cabin under the ocean with a mysterious old man, playing a cursed coin game to change your fate.

If you are into horror games like Buckshot Roulette, you might enjoy this one! I'm super excited and I hope you'll enjoy :)

I hope you'll appreciate my UI animation efforts!

My game Lexispell has a lot of UI so I want it to feel alive and inviting. I hope players will enjoy and play around with the buttons!

I should probably finish the game instead of adding fun cursors!

I wanted to have something fun for people to try in the Lexispell demo (cursors are not live yet) so I thought custom cursor would be cool! I hope I didn't do that for nothing.

To be honest, it's kinda fun to juggle with letters like that, might turn it into a minigame sometimes lol. You can checkout the game on Steam, this is not part of the demo yet!
