Looking for work in SC, is pay what they say or is it all a lie?

Hey Yall, I'm not sure if this is going to get deleted but hopefully it doesn't.

As a future employee. I just wanted to ask fellow employees if this salary range is a lie, or if it's actually real. I'm in South Carolina and just looking for some recommendations in regards of what jobs I should apply for in Walmart.

I have about 3 to 5 years of restaurant management experience and I already have my ServSafe and I feel like for the time being since I just need a job, I could easily do a supervisor role.

What do you guys think and what do you think the hourly pay would be? I would want to get paid above $20 an hour, but I have heard it all depends on the store and the state. Minimum wage here is about $7.50/hour

Thank you

Morgan Wallen Concert, What to expect ?

Hey yall,

Seeing as we are a couple weeks away from the Morgan Wallen concert.

I just wanted to make this post so we can all talk about what to expect.

I’m already noticing that hotels are extremely sold out and expensive, last concert in Clemson saw over 4 hours of standstill traffic to get back to Greenville so what are some things that concertgoers should be aware coming into town especially if they don’t live in the Clemson/Greenville area and things they should prepare for ?

I appreciate y’all.

Pacha NY then Brooklyn Storehouse on the 20th…?

Hey yall,

I was looking around and I couldn’t find an exact answer.

Anybody knows when Brooklyn storehouse closes? It says it starts at 10pm

I’ll be in town with some girls on the weekend of June 20th for Pacha’s opening weekend and I’m a huge Beltran fan but I didn’t realize he was doing a show the same night

I see that he plays there all night long and Pacha ends at 4am. Is there a way to leave Pacha at 4am and catch Beltran for even an hour or 2 till 5/6am

Thanks for the help 🙌

$50 Tip plus free order!? 🤣

First double order of lunch, 16.2 miles at $17.50.

Order A: right next to pick up and inside the hot zone

Order B: 14 miles away, far from hot zone

The plan was always to deliver order B first and then come back for order A so I could be right inside the hot zone after the last drop off so I don’t have to drive 14 miles back to the hot zone

Then order B texted me and says “they’ll Venmo me $50 if I deliver their order fast” which I gladly did then order A sent me a message asking me “are you lost?!?”

I cracked up laughing, but I told them that I got a $50 Venmo to deliver the further order first and they flipped out telling me that they’re gonna call “corporate “. I told her it’s just business and she’s getting her order in 20 minutes lol

She called Doordash, got the order canceled and I walked away with her full payout of $6.95 plus the remaining $11 of the order for delivering order B and the $50 tip plus order A’s free cancelled food 🤣

I love customers, thanks for lunch Girl 🙌

Dash by hour or by order ? Which is better now…

Hey yall,

Just wondering what your perspective is. Lately my Doordash has been so slow that before I could do 3:30 PM to 10 PM and come home easily with $60-$90 but now I dash from 330pm on and I get a fuck ton of $2 to $5 orders or no orders at all which makes no sense and I deal with traffic, plus I make no money since I’m declining all the low orders

So my thought is : should I just turn on Dash by hour and deliver everything or keep being picky? I have over 3000 deliveries under my belt and have been dashing since 2018, how times were better but now idk what to do to make money in my area

Plat peak pay, plus Plat benefits the only way to make money?

Hey y'all,

I just wanted to ask my fellow South Carolina/Georgia Doordash drivers how the market is for them.

I used to DoorDash more and I was easily making like $40-$80 dashing like 2-4 hours hours a day even on a random Monday night but recently since Doordash started doing extra one dollar for platinum drivers and more benefits for platinum drivers I’ve noticed that the wait is between 2 to 6 minutes to get an order instead of just getting orders constantly and it’s so much harder to make good money

Everything else is good. Only thing that’s bad is my acceptance rate, what gives ?
