I can't remember where I saw it mentioned, but I read somewhere that reducing the evo gem down to common actually makes it harder to pull from boss chests. Can anyone confirm this, and if so what's the best rarity to leave it at?

I'm able to make it to the second floor, but I'm getting absolutely trashed shortly after. I've tried a few different combinations of crawlers, and just can't seem to find a good mix. I haven't done a lot with the jewler yet aside from dropping the Wild gem down to common grade and sealing the Mild gem. Is there an ideal trio that works well, and should I be doing some more preparations as it comes to gems?
