Monitor stuck in power saving when I boot my PC.

Short story:

Had an Rx570 GPU, it started artifacting so a friend lent me their old Gigabyte GPU. Worked for about a month, and then when I tried to turn on my PC it just stayed in power saving mode. I switched back to the Rx570 and just powered through the artifacting, and then just yesterday it fully broke. I then AGAIN switched back to the Gigabyte GPU from my friend, and behold, it worked, no power saving. That was earlier today. I turned my PC off and went about my day, came home, launched it, and I have the power saving issue again.

The fact that this issue wasn't present when I installed the card earlier today tells me that this GPU isn't fully broken, and can surely be saved?

Things I have tried: Switching monitor, switching HDMI cable, unplugging all unneeded accessories, resetting CMOS battery, pressing F12 for Bios on launch, turning everything off and on again, holding buttons down for 30 seconds, resitting the card many times, switching back to the Rx570 and then straight back to the Gigabyte card.

When I boot my PC, all fans turn on as normal, all lights turn on, keyboard and mouse turn on, the only problem is the monitor turning to power saving mode instantly and then staying there.

Nothing has worked. This is the most unsolved problem I have ever had with any PC. Nowhere holds the answers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anything at all.

Thank you.

Help finding this hat!

Even just finding this image took me to the deepest corners of the internet. This hat is like a lost relic. I had it before, but I lost it about 1 month ago and I really want it back.

Any help would be much appreciated. I understand there are similar hats, but I really want this one in particular.

It is STWD x Pleasures.

Is it disrespectful or bad juju to look inside an old tomb?

For context: I live in a pretty rural area in the UK. There is an old religious ruin near me that is a very popular tourist attraction due to its connection to a popular saint. Just beside this ruin there is a small and old graveyard with two big tombs. 90% of the graves here are over 100 years old, but the odd person still gets buried here to this day and there is a fairly new church 1 mile down the road from here.

I was here in the dark of night with a couple friends just to walk about and observe the wonders of history. We eventually got to the graveyard and were focused on the two big tombs. Long story short, we shined a phone torch through a small purposely made hole in the door of one of the tombs and put our eyes up to it one by one. It was hard to see inside, but I could just barely make out human bones.

We went to the second tomb which was much larger. It has 5-6 perfectly circle small holes randomly punched through the door for reasons I do not understand. My morbid curiosity got the better of me and I put the torch up to one hole and my eye to the other. This lit up the ENTIRE inside of the tomb. I saw inside there were two old wooden coffins on shelves but I didn't look long enough to observe anything else.

This whole expedition in this graveyard almost felt like an opening scene to a horror movie, and we are the dumb characters. Seeing the coffins in there gave me shivers down my spine. I find it very humbling to think that these two people once lived lives like me, and now they are in a big rich tomb forgotten about. I find it rather scary to think of what is inside the coffins. Something about 200 year old coffins being completely exposed and unburied for my eye to see does not sit right with me.This tomb has been there since 1803.

I feel as though me looking through these holes was incredibly disrespectful, but my morbid curiosity got the better of me. Would anyone else have had a look? Am I an absolute wuss for overreacting about this? Was it disrespectful for me to have a look, even if these graves are over two centuries old?

I am sorry in advance for the small essay.

Just to add: I think the most jarring bit for me was how the flashlight fully lit the tomb up like it was daytime inside. I find it almost unnatural for a burial tomb to be fully exposed like that. It almost made the inside and the coffins look like a fake movie set.

What is the best / perfect phone? Is there one?

I'm not looking to buy a phone, I'm just curious. About 3 weeks ago when researching what phone I want to buy, it was literally impossible to find a phone that doesn't have a huge downside or a lot of people unhappy about it.

It seems like every phone cheaps out on at least something. For example, my new Pixel 10 Pro seemed perfect, but now I'm seeing so many comments about the lack of battery life, poor chip, and overheating issues.

I looked at Honour phones, Xiaomi, Samsung, iPhone, but not a single one was an all around perfect phone. Whether they cheaped out on battery, the camera, the chip, the software, there is ALWAYS something.

Thing is, I am beginning to think people will just complain about ANYTHING. I think "Phone Snobs" are a very real thing. I have my Pixel 10 Pro now, and it is everything I could ever need in a phone and more. My friends with 9 Pros say the same thing. They have no issues with it. Same goes for iPhone. My significant other has an iPhone 16, and I have used it a lot. The apple IOS, battery, and freedom is excellent, yet those are the main things people criticise with Apple.

TL;DR

Humans complain about everything, is there actually a phone people won't criticise?

I am from the UK. Does anyone have any advice on where / how to get good deals on phones? I am looking for a Google Pixel 9 Pro, I don't mind if it is 128GB or 256GB.

Title. I am looking to find an affordable price on a Pixel 9 Pro, maybe somewhere with a good sale on right now, or a sale coming soon. Perhaps discount codes / first time buyer discounts?

I would much prefer to buy this phone brand new as I have had bad experience with second hand phones, and I wish for the phone's battery life to be at it's full potential, but if there are any banging deals on refurbished phones, I am all ears.

I also do not mind the "Buy now, pay later." thing that has been common lately, in fact I would probably prefer it.

Thank you.

Looking for good budget phone, I am completely lost in the bloated market.

I am looking for a reliable phone with good battery life for no more than £400. I currently have an Iphone X, which speaks for itself... this thing is running on hopes and dreams.

I have tried to do a bit of digging myself, but EVERY single post I find that speaks of budget phones is full of very well off people that have nothing but criticism for anything that isn't a top of the line flagship device. This is making it very hard to make up my mind, as I cannot tell if cons / problems are real or if they are just nitpicks by phone snobs.

I am very interested in moving back to Android, but if there are any good deals on Iphones, they MUST have a USB-C port.

To add one question: Are Androids as free as they were back in the day? I remember 5-10 years ago I would customize my Android with my friend to look like a Victorian child's nightmare, I would download random APKs off the web browser and I would switch the OS, all without jailbreaking the phone. I am done with the limits of Apple, I yearn to reach my former glory.

Thank you.

P.S. I am from the United Kingdom. The moderation bot scolded me and told me to add my country.
