So I was trying to 7 star vocto with a friend, and ironically, we calced 2100 Anarchy Power.
But now here lies the issue: what the hell does a Vocto do at those levels? Spacing is one of the core principles that I know all of you are aware of, it's what everyone does, even at 1800.
But Vocto struggles with the fact that someone moving a tiny bit back can completely outdps a Vocto by turning it's 40 damage to around 25 if you're lucky.
So what does a Vocto do? Where would I even start with movement and such when I already know how to substrafe and such, PLUS with some of these weapons by the time I can even react I'm already dead? You don't overuse the rolling mode with it because it's slow and predictable, so where do I even start? Ideally ways that don't involve just spamming bombs because if I wanted to do that I'd be seven starring Stringer, not Vocto.
1st game: Blob, nbrush and respawn punisher areospray on the same fucking team.
2nd game: Vbrush with infinite ink resistance decided to backline and spam bombs.
3rd game: Frontliners decided to tunnel vision the bomb spamming vcharger, and on three different occasions was killed because they jumped on the tower for a fight on a tiny platform and the vcharger just dumped a bomb at their feet.
And you expect me to believe that this is my fault? Mate, if this were me they'd be banned from x for the whole of next season and wouldn't gain anything from anarchy.
I remember when getting to X didn't mean either being carried or having to carry. There's no middle ground with X in 3, which is what makes it so luck based for the vast majority of players

Zones in this shitty teammate economy shouldn't be a ranked mode full stop. There's so many times where you can die once with less than 10 remaining, lose the zones and then not be able to retake when your teammates care more about their KD than getting the zone. And before you say "tHaT cAn haPpEn iN alL modEs!" it's an issue that prevails on Zones because of the way the scoring works. It doesn't work in soloq, literally the only people that like it are it's cheesers and people who are on this game on call 23 hours a day, spending one on private battles and the other 22 on the replay viewer glazing it like an English teacher.
And do I need to explain why Flounder Heights just doesn't work as a map? Huge lockout potential, hardly any room to maneuver, and it's quite literally the most spawncampy map in the game, and this is just talking about it's TINY SIZE.
I just wanna get to S+10 atp man...X with a stealth melee playstyle doesn't really work out but I can't be trying anything if I'm essentially locked out of the game for two hours

Hm...let's see...
- It has no paint
- It is slow and clunky as hell
- If you have to jump to avoid getting shot, and RNG makes the shot hit a wall or the floor, it does ten damage at most
- It can't actually get in there on maps with heavy choke points
Meanwhile Stringer:
- Has explosive shots, much like Blaster
- Can still hit for full damage even if the shot hits the floor
- Can camp in one spot most of the game and get away with it
- Bombs do not do anything to it's campy playstyle
- It actually can paint, immediately trapping you in place. vStringer has a bomb that can do this too, with a fitting name for what the cardboard box they live in is like
- vWellstring has a panic button special

Teammates will not attempt to retake, at all. They'll line up one after the other to just die. It's constant and this is what makes melees impossible to play 99% of the time.
The entire time, not a single special is thrown out.

It's amazing and was worth losing a Series life for!! I love when my entire ability to succeed is entirely based off RNG and if the RNG is garbo then I get locked out from doing literally anything!!!!!
