Just because you've got 500 X Power and can't go any lower doesn't mean you can sit down and ruin other people's games too with your constant feeding. Uninstall the fucking game and go back to your collection of Steam gooner games you're cheating on your partner with, you're not welcome here.
Zones is quite literally the campest mode I have ever seen in all of gaming. The mode 100% revolves around camping. It's worse fucking turf war because they're not pushing up, they legit HAVE to camp in this corner of the map and when they get comfortable, retake is borderline impossible. Tell me how this shite mode is more balanced than Clams and tell me how this mode deserves to get the competitive love it does, because newsflash, it really fucking doesn't.
All the hate going towards Clam Blitz deserves to go towards this shitfest of a campy mode.
Like yeah maybe the damage is strong but omfg do you have to have blatant bloom reducers or Chronus Zen to actually make it any good. I have 4 stars on it and I can't seem to understand why people hate it so much.
You can literally sink five shots onto a barely moving or not even moving at all target with the crosshair on them the whole time and the rng finds some way to count 4 shots as a miss. It's such a bullshit gambling ass weapon man and I don't understand why people hate on this instead of the actually no skill camp cheeses.
You shock someone, they move back 1mm, brush takes 4 hits to kill someone with!
When you're swinging someone head on for a 3 hit, apparently some invisible force is body blocking your shots and they take 0 damage, and all they need to do to kill you is press Y and all of a sudden they have no shot rng!
When you're retreating, somehow they have faster swim speed than you do despite them having no swim speed chunks and you having a main and three subs!
Trashmates proceed to stall the entire game, not playing objective despite a 4v2!
You're legit FORCED to backline with a goddamn melee in the last few seconds because god forbid you die once your trashmates start literally lining up one after the other to die and you can only watch as the god damn tower pole body blocks all your direct hits and bombs so you can't do anything!
We can't forget that the maps are awful so you might as well DC if they have a special that uses object HP (except booyah since that doesn't score on tower)
All this and a 2-3 x series has you lose over 100 x power. I love thrower control, it's truly a balanced mode!
This is why I stick to melees cause oh my days I play literally anything else is such a gamble if it'll do damage on an opponent or not. I can point at a target, crosshair is an X and the shot that's supposedly perfect accuracy still apparently doesn't hit them. I've played some games where difficulty wasn't really a care for devs and they're STILL less bullshit than this.
Multiplayer Game of The Year my ass. This gets Multiplayer Game of The Year when the servers are shut down. In some cases with garbo matchmaking the game would be more playable as it is now if the servers were to shut down.
Ffs at least make it so lethal bombs can't be sucked up. Cause atm if you stay back on tower like a pussy you're cheesing a minimum of 25 points for FREE and there's nothing the other team can do about it. Even their specials will be sucked up. 2 subs of spu and all of a sudden you're completely invulnerable from the sides, a huge area is completely invulnerable in front and there's NOTHING you can do!
If I don't see a vac nerf I will build my own Switch emulator and I will show it to the higher ups at Nintendo. This is beyond ridiculous to make 90% of the maps hallway in some way and make vac able to be completely uncontestable from the front and sides with no effort. If I see a Vac again I'm out. I don't care what yall trashcan wintraders say, there is no counter to this.
Retake literally does NOT exist with them. They have the map painted in their color, you literally cannot go anywhere without making them aware of your presence.
Now couple that with three feeders that proceed to rush the tower one by one, what the fuck do I do? This is why I leave seeing double melee. You literally cannot trust your own teammates to let you play the fucking game and when one other person is on melee too, that cripples your team even more. I'm so over this
Double charger and double RNG on zones. If you genuinely think this was winnable then thanks for admitting to cheating both in game and on three different partners. I'm not sticking around for a game that was confirmed a loss from the start. I would literally rather download an AI directly on my pc and give it admin access over my work partition, not that you would know what work is if you genuinely think that watching a video of a bad comp will somehow fix the bad comp.

Do not lure EVERYTHING. Maws, scrappers, whatever, if you have majority control of it's space then do it. Hell, you could even do it to a steelhead. if you can. But:

1: If you do this to a drizzler, steel eel, or a fish stick near basket then you're throwing the game, full stop. Kill them as soon as you see them, Drizzler torps, eels, and sticks take up a SHIT TON of space and allowing them to do so is not worth it for three eggs. You can throw the eggs closer to the basket when you have more control over the area they're in.

2: Don't sit there doing nothing, and I'm not gonna listen to your this ways telling others to throw the game either. Kill the goddamn lessers and more dangerous bosses that accompany the boss you're luring. Stuff like flyfish and stingers, don't leave them to be a nuisance. Lids can be lured if you're using them to kill other bosses, otherwise the shield and extra lesser spawn is not worth it.

And 3: Don't keep doing it if you lose control of the basket jesus fucking christ. The amount of people I've had to block because they've overlured, got overwhelmed and then used special in celebration when I've barely pulled through is so many it's not even funny.
Double melee should just not count as a loss omg it's basically a confirmed loss. I can't deal with this
Double melee the ENTIRE fucking x ticket. I just gave up on the second to last match and then dced the final one. There is no winning a double melee comp. If anyone's got any suggestions for weapons that don't rely on your trashmates to win then I'm all ears.
Like, I'm trying not to expect much from these loners atp, but it's hard not to when the same guy that had just clipfarmed with your entire team of AI chatbots is now on yours and backlining with a freznel pro, like HARD backlining.

This is not Splatoon, I refuse to believe this is supposed to be an upgrade from 2. 3 has soured my perception of the series and if 4 doesn't fix the glaring problems the feeder defenders love to ignore then they'll be nothing stopping me from modding my switch.
