A while back I posted our 20ft inflatable werewolf. So many people asked where to buy it that we're thinking about making a small batch. Would love to hear what you think.
A few months ago we tried launching a St. Patrick's Leprechaun on Kickstarter. It didn't make it, but I got a lot of really useful feedback here, so thanks again to everyone who commented or messaged me.
This year I think we finally have something people might actually want.
A while back our factory made this 20ft inflatable werewolf. We only made one prototype, and another customer later ordered two custom ones. That's it. We never sold it or mass produced it.
When I posted it before, I got way more DMs than I expected asking where people could buy one. I still get messages about it every now and then.
So now we're talking about actually making a small batch.
The problem is that these things are huge, expensive to make, and take a long time to produce. We also want to make sure everyone gets theirs before Halloween, so we can't just take unlimited orders.
My first thought was Kickstarter again, but after what happened last year I'm honestly not sure if that's the best idea.
So I wanted to ask you guys first.
If this was available, would you actually buy one?
Do you think Kickstarter makes sense for something like this, or is there a better way to handle pre-orders that works for everyone?If you have any thoughts, ideas, or questions, just leave a comment or shoot me a DM.
