Looking for the sports bar that a die hard CFB fan needs to visit!

Edit: Not during football season, it’d be the end of July.

Hello all, I’m (huge sports fan) and my wife (is willing to put up with my sports passion) and my 8 year old son (let’s say my mini-me) are spending a night down in Columbia and besides exploring the stadium area, we love eating in the University’s staple sports bar or two.

What is the #1 or #2 sports USC sports bar you’d recommend to get the best experience? Decked out in USC decor, loads of TV’s, etc.

Thanks!

Am I wrong here for being annoyed with DOT?

TLDR: State DOT didn’t care about a broken stop sign causing a safety concern and told me to deal with it.

So I was at the shopping center with Home Depot, and the new Hobby Lobby in Rockville on Shady Grove Road recently. I entered by way of Home Depot, heading towards the extended part of the shopping center and was flabbergasted that there wasn’t a stop sign as I entered the rest of the shopping center and thought to myself, “gosh that was dangerous!”

As I was leaving the shopping center, I noticed the stop sign that I should have seen was twisted and bent over, facing the complete opposite direction!

I wanted to be a good citizen and report it, so I called 311. The 1st operator who answered, I explained everything to, told her intersection, etc. and she transferred my call to a different person. That next person told me that intersection was controlled by the state DOT, so she transferred me to them. The next operation transferred me to a different person, who voicemail I got. At this point, I was annoyed so I simply left a basic message, told the intersection, and left it at that.

About a week later, I received a call back, leaving a message that said, “Hi, we investigated and that stop sign is in the shopping center, so their people are in charge, call them.”

What?! Call a shopping center?! How does one call a shopping center? Shouldn’t the state DOT care enough to call the shopping center? Wouldn’t they have a better idea on how to get ahold of the shopping center people?! Don’t they care if the stop sign gets fixed? Isn’t that sort of their job to care?

Am I wrong here?

Do you consider it rude and inconsiderate to leave your car at the gas pump, parked, to go inside to get a snack/drink for 5 or 10 minutes?

It seems like every time I go to Wawa, Sheetz, Buc-ee’s, Royal Farms, etc. and I need gas, there are 5+ cars occupying pumps, with no people around, no gas being pumped, etc.

ELI5: How does the rental car system work? Who owns the cars? Do they ever need to get back to the location you picked it up from?

I picked up a car from Avis in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and driving it home to Washington DC. The owner of the Avis in Mt. Juliet said her and her husband bought the rental car place 6 months ago. I guess it’s not their car that I rented? What if they run out of cars?

Coming down for Ed Sheeran this weekend and staying in Mt. Juliet, restaurant with music for family?

We’re (my wife, my 8 year old son, and myself) are coming down this weekend and was looking for a restaurant place for Friday night that isn’t downtown. Anything within a 15-20 minute Uber ride that is family friendly with lives music? Thanks in advance!

Are you able to play weekend golf with a cart for under $90

I’m in Montgomery County, Maryland and that answer is no. I could tee off after 5:00 for $65. It’s insanity.
