How do you use big iPhones?

Hey, I have a question. Just recently, I tried out my first iPhone—my grandma gave it to me after I sold her an S23+, and she gave me her iPhone XR, which she no longer used because it had so little storage and was so slow. I restored it and started using it as a secondary phone to see what iPhones are like, and I realized a lot of things.

One of those things is the issue with gestures and how awkward they are, especially when using one hand. While on my OnePlus 13 I can use the back gestures that any Android has (swiping from either side of the screen to go back), on the iPhone I had to struggle to find the right gesture, swiping to the other side of the screen—or sometimes there wasn’t even one.

Still, I’ve gotten used to it now, and I want to buy a used iPhone 15 Pro to see what it’s like. That’s why I’d also like to know: how do you guys handle the Pro Max models? It must be awful to use with one hand—I really feel like a smaller iPhone model is much easier to handle. I’d love to hear about your experiences.

iPhone XR Screen replacement

Hi everyone, I recently received an iPhone XR from my grandmother, who gave it to me after she bought an S23+. The screen is cracked, but it works perfectly, and I also want to replace the battery since it’s at 72%—I’ve noticed that performance drops below that level.

This is the first iPhone I’ve actually used; I have it as a backup phone for my OnePlus 13. To be honest, it’s pretty good despite everything—I still don’t like how limited it is in terms of gestures, the lack of “Circle to Search,” and the terrible keyboard, but everything else works perfectly for what I need (which is to keep my OnePlus 13 from getting stolen).

I need to know the best place to buy an OEM screen and a good-quality battery for the iPhone. I don’t want cheap screens because I hate it when the bezels aren’t symmetrical—the only option I’ve seen so far is iFixIt. I’d like to know if it’s really worth it or not.

OpenStreetMap to DXF

I'm tired of CadMapper and its limitations and pricing (and you need to login also). And since QGIS is so incredibly tedious for me, I decided to create a program to export from OpenStreetMap to DXF. It's still in the very early stages of development, but it already works very well.

I'd like to ask everyone if you work with similar tools and what features you'd like me to add to this.

Gracias

Is this a good trade for a Find N5?

I currently have a OnePlus 13 (Global) and I'm happy with it, but I saw someone who wants to trade me an Oppo Find N5 (Global) for my OnePlus 13 + OnePlus Watch 3 and maybe the OnePlus Buds 3 as well. Do you think it's worth it? I've always wanted the Oppo Find N5. How are the updates going for the Oppo Find N5? Does it get updated often?

This sounds better than my old Beyerdynamic DT 770

I wanted to share my experience using the 7Hz x Crinacle Zero 2 for the first time. Recently, I decided to replace my Beyerdynamic DT770s (which cost me about $160 back then) and get into IEMs. I bought a pair of KZ Castor Bass just to test them out and see if they were any good, but I found their default tuning to be very aggressive. Despite that, they sounded almost 70–80% as good as the Beyerdynamics if they’re properly equalized. Now I’ve bought the Zero 2 with Dunu eartips and a cable for a better look. No complaints—the moment I tried them, I felt they didn’t even need equalization. They sound very natural and good enough to replace my Beyerdynamic DT 770; I’d even say they sound better. I’m so satisfied that I’d even say for my next IEMs I’d go for some 7Hz x Crinacle Divine or Crinear Daybreak—I don’t feel the need to spend between $40 and $100 just for a minor improvement.

Totally recommended!
