I've got a message for all of you. You can't ever give up. Never. Giving up is guaranteeing defeat. And if there's one thing video games and crossing the splatlands have taught me, it's that "It's not over 'til it's over.". Thought I'd get that out there to those who needed to hear it. Did some rainmaker with some buddies to relax after work today, got a few wins but GOD do chargers hurt like hell. Anyway, had a lazy dinner. Burgers at SplatDonalds. They had the Big Tasty, so I had that. It's consistently...good. gotta love consistency. My best friend.

Made a MEAN lasagne today. I even made the sauces and pasta sheets on my own. Quite proud of how it turned out. Quite exited for the new SquidBox console they just unveiled. Its a nice recolour though I'm not sure it's worth the price tag. Work was fine. If a little chilly, and thats saying something, even for me. God I'm glad I get paid more just to be there. Salmonids barely showed up it was so cold. Hopefully they can get through the cold snap, I splat the buggers but I don't hate 'em.

I need to find my sketching pencils. I want to draw stuff but I can't find them anywhere. I looked up and down my apartment (Yes, the whole 3 rooms of it) and I can't find them anywhere. Maybe it's a sign I need to tidy up a bit. Anyway, I visited my friend who works in a corner shop in splatsville, and we had lunch while he was on his break. Pretty chill day, not much happened. I'll be sure to let you know if I find them.

Today was pretty dang fun. Day off from work, so I decided to spend it taking the train into the countryside. Nice place. Visited a small village with some nice walks around it. Had lunch in one of those pleasant tea room places. Saw some wildlife. Got stared at by the locals since I don't think they are familiar with Collosal Inklings such as myself. Overall, pretty nice place, got some bits to take back home with me. Train back had a nice red hue to the sunset. Usually I'd be worried but it's probably nothing.

Today was pretty fine. Salmonids were chill, weather was just plain cold, which to me is kind of warm. Got a day off tomorrow, so that's ok. Found a new favourite song on the subway today, I'll link it if you want it. You just gotta ask. Sun was nice out in the morning AND the afternoon, so I got to sit on my very small balcony that counts as one of THREE rooms in my apartment and enjoy the sunset. Today was homemade crispy fried rice in a spicy teriyaki sauce and vegetables in the side. I like cooking. Especially sauces. Keeps me grounded in reality.

Did my weekly service on my Heavy Splatling today. Forgot to mention I did it last week, but it's important to do these things. I plan to have it until the day I drop dead, so I have to take care of it. Once again had the leftover pot noodle from yesterday. Broth had a surprising amount of flavour, it was quite tasty. Went down to mako mart to get some bits for the coming week, mostly protein and carbohydrates, but I picked up some delicious fruits as well. I've got exams at the moment so I have to keep myself energised. Once again wishing a happy pride month to everyone.

An entire week of doing this. Diary's usually aren't my thing but I'm actually enjoying this. Storm finally cleared where I work, so it was back into the cold for me today. To apologize for the outage, Grizzco gave me a double shift. Thanks Grizzco. Solo glow flies were just riveting. Got me feeling like the Doom Guy, if you know the reference. Anyway, treated myself to Hotlandis' finest pot noodle for dinner. Sauce was surprisingly rich in flavour, for a §200 cheap-ass pot of instant noodles. Again, watched another episode of my sci-fi show. Season finale, exciting stuff. Thought about going out to mako mart to get some stuff for dinner tomorrow. Found another pot noodle in my drawer. Nevermind the trip to mako-mart.

Happy pride month everyone. This one goes out to all my squids and squidettes and everything in between. I myself am an ally of that sort of thing. Not a big fan of those who disagree with LGBTQ rights. It's just love, after all. Saw some of the celebrations outside my apartment, couldn't help but join in. Had my own little celebratory pizza and a movie. Watched Hot Fuzz, gotta be one of my favourite movies. Squidolous Angel is a great protagonist. Work was called off for the day, storm is still hitting the cold parts where I work and it is too dangerous to get a helicopter there or back. Not complaining.

Heard about the new railway opening. Can't say that I'm...too enticed to visit octo valley. Got things to do, but maybe during my holidays. Saw some of the clothes lately, and saw a grown octoling buying a schoolgirl outfit. Didn't want to ask what that was about. Didn't look old enough to want to ruin their life with kids, that's all I'll say. Anyway, my day was alright. Spent some of my evening after work getting damp out of my carpet. That was fun. The "hairdryer-broom method" never fails me. Did managed to get in an episode of my favourite Sci-fi program though, as well as some time revising for examinations coming up. I'll speak to you all tomorrow.

Storm hit today. Grizzco let me off work, it was that bad. Spent all day emptying buckets of water full of rain out of my apartment, because my damn landlord won't do anything about my leaky roof. When it finally stopped, I was left in a soggy, hungry, heap on my sofa. Played on my laptop for a bit, glad I got one with a dedicated GPU. Ate some leftovers I had from yesterday's Crusty Sean's trip. Not a great day.

Today was dull. Nothing interesting happened. The sky was grey enough to suffocate even the slightest drop of sunlight. I have a bad feeling a storm is coming. My apartment always gets leaky when there's a big storm. Work was boring, but not hard. Grizzco treated me to a food ticket for my hard work, at least. I'll be at Crusty Sean's for dinner. Even the subway was dull. I suppose there was that one tweaker who I'm pretty sure was on sea snails, but who am I to say anything.

Today, I did a shift at Grizzco, took the subway there and back. The morning and evening rush brings a kind of energy I don't really think you can find anywhere else. Had some leftover Fajita bits from yesterday, in front of the TV. Went for my evening run with some music in, saw a couple friends on the way. 'Twas a good day, I think. Had a pretty standard cereal breakfast.

Today, not much happened. I did go to the gym, hit a new PR. Pretty proud of that. Saw a pretty cool looking bird outside the window on the subway. I love the subway. It's noisy and busy, but it's got a real sense of togetherness and comfy seats. Had a nice fajita toastie for breakfast. This is Baito, signing off.

Good kollosus matches follow a pretty standard formula. Get fairly close and use charge for some initial damage. Someone tries to attack you? Block. Keep going. Get a grab. Hit a melee because you hit grab. Rinse and repeat. It's so boring because 9 times out of 10 grab hits you anyway no matter how much you try and juke it. He's just boring to play against because it's extremely difficult to win against a decent kollosus main.

I didn't agree with them but I shouldn't have called them a pred. I started to feel a lot of guilt when I realised I might have been harassing a kid that just wanted to share their art. I know they've deleted their account but better late than never. I thought I'd do the right thing and apologize. The lesson I've learnt from this is to respect people even if you don't agree with them.
