Currently a 22.2 bid is in my center (I signed my name on it already lol), what is 22.2 about? What kinda duties do they do and if I get it how will that affect me since I’m a pt preloader doing rtd/tcd. I get confused with all these 22.2/22.3/22.4 and whatnot lol

Currently there are 2 lists in my building for replacing 2 drivers and I signed both of them as an rtd/tcd. It says for full time rpcds only but I signed anyways… when I wasn’t even past my 30 days I signed a tcd interest list that said I need to have seniority and still got it. I’m guessing I’ll just lose the bids due to low seniority?

Holy! I forgot the lockers in the building even existed until I saw some old dude open one and take his stuff out. I’m convinced only the people with 100+ years of seniority have a locker

Aight so I’m rtd and I filed a grievance for being sent home and since then, management has been on my ass about performance basically saying I’m always over allowed and I’m not scratching like I used to during my packet. Cm on my ass about it, building manager guy (cm’s boss) is on my ass too saying he’s seeing my name a lot and ors said he’s getting pressured by them to talk to me about it.

During my packet I was doing stuff like going over the speed limit, coming in early and working off clock and sorting my trucks during my meal and not taking my 10 min break (never told them that lol) but now I’m not doing that. I *could* move faster but I’m not going to, building manager guy said i won’t be here for very long if I keep this up. Is this what people have been talking about where u become targeted when u file a grievance?

What does a grievance even do towards management, does it get them in trouble with corporate or something?? Maybe if you guys followed the contract I wouldn’t be filing a grievance…

I feel the pressure but I’m not scared of them, you’re better off just killing me lol

I asked a supe if we can take our breaks in the building when we get back he said yeah but I’m about to hit my dot limit today for 14 hours (13.5 with meal). I know you need to spend x amount of time away from driving before u can drive again but if I’m taking a break INSIDE the building that shouldn’t count towards dot hours right??

Rtd here. Center manager last week told me my schedule is Monday to Saturday and today is Saturday so I showed up for that 6th punch. I came in and I don’t see a route for me on the computer then one of the ors told me to hang tight so I waited then he said he’s just waiting on 2 ppl. He said I can run their route if they don’t show up but if they do then I gotta go home. I asked if I’ll get my guarantee he said nah cz there’s no work for me but he can pay me for the safety meeting. So I suggested I can wash the trucks, that’s work I can do and he said nah lol. We were both laughing but can I file a grievance on this?

There seems to be paranormal activity in my center where everytime I clock out, the next day, my hand cart is gone… these ghosts only seem to target good hand carts for some reason but won’t take the bad hand cart that I purposely left in my truck..

Ups used to be the biggest in the business but now it’s passed by Amazon and even FedEx… The company is failing and looking at shipping prices from a customer perspective I totally get why people would choose other shippers. If nobody buys the services then the company won’t have enough money to pay all these drivers 45 an hour and you’ll be looking at a lot more layoffs… and if they raise driver pay they’re going to raise the prices for customers then even less people will use the service. It feels like a ship stuck in the middle of nowhere and I’m a little concerned for the company and where it stands right now… I’m just enjoying the money while I can but I’m not sure how much longer the company will last. So what can ups actually do to keep the company going and bring us back to possibly number 2 (I don’t think we’ll ever surpass Amazon with all the things they offer)

Hi so today I remember putting 9:04 as the start time on the diad, I clocked out for my break and I see 9:07 as my start time. I came at 9:04 but I didn’t actually punch in at 9:04 so idk if that’s what happened but just wanna make sure. If this is normal and not a supe being bored, will it automatically change to 9:04 when I clock out??

I recently finished the 30 day packet crap for rtd so now I’m a full fledged temp driver but it’s been a lot of bullshit. I started off with preload on my 30 day probation so I had to work my ass off to do anything for management to even keep me then as soon as I finished the 30 days I got laid off for a few months but luckily I got called to do integrad so I went while laid off and after I completed it I thought that would be it but no I have to do yet another 30 day of ass licking and putting myself second… I completed that so can I finally relax a little bit and actually put myself first now? I hear a lot of people saying after you finish the packet you can chill so is that the end of it?? I just gotta wait 20 years for a rpcd or full time bid right?

Rtd here with interests of going ft rpcd or cover feeder (whichever comes first). One center (the one im currently in) seems to always have bid lists posted up, the other one (idk where they post their stuff) but it seems like they rarely have any bids. If I were to somehow switch to the other center would I lose all my seniority even though it’s in the same building? And does having 2 centers in one building make it easier to bids and opportunities?

I’m not mad but slightly annoyed… idk who does this if it’s preload or someone else but can someone please explain to me the science behind putting PAL labels ON TOP of the barcodes???

Why are my stops always either the houses with NO NUMBER or the one with a 5 mile driveway. Like I don’t know which house this is but I know it’s the one I’m going to lol

Supe called me into the office today with a steward and talked about how I was 3 hours over yesterday.. I spent at least an hour in total trying to find 2 addresses that don’t exist. He then said that I spent 47 minutes on a stop but for that stop I couldn’t find a package so I came back to deliver it when my truck was empty and I found it (idk how he got that number I probably spent AT THE VERY MOST 10mins on that stop). Idk if the steward was on my side but he said I would not have been able to find those 2 addresses cz they’re in extremely weird spots far from where it should be.

Supe was showing me my numbers and I actually got a -1.77 one time and he said he doesn’t know what happened there but I haven’t scratched once yet.. to me that seems like I finished quick right?? (Pause on that). Another supe said I probably put the wrong mileage in (I didn’t), I didn’t do anything wrong that day. Also 1 of the days I had to take stops off another driver then I had to help another day I had to help another driver with bulk pickups… he then said I’ll get sent back to preload if I don’t get my numbers down because corporate won’t accept it or something like that
