I’m being told by my doctor that it’s fine to continue dysport injections for cervical dystonia during pregnancy. It doesn’t look like there’s actually much research on this though, and I’m leaning towards postponing treatment until the baby is delivered.
I am curious about others’ experiences, though. Have others continued treatment during pregnancy? What was your experience/outcome?

I’m generally stiff now and can’t do any of the Beighton test things (other than touch my thumb to my wrist), but I do have this super cool thumb (in addition to meeting several other criteria). Is this a form of hypermobility?
I changed my major 8 times in college, have started and abandoned so many ideas, businesses, etc. and run myself into financial trouble as a result. I feel such a pressure to find “my thing”, but nothing ever feels like the right fit.
Not a perfect apples to apple comparison, but sharing my skeletal changes post-MARPE (left is prior to treatment).
Trying to figure out DJS insurance coverage (I have OSA but insurance requires other annoying steps before covering DJS so trying to go the malocclusion route).
I’m pretty sure my overjet qualifies me (needs to be >5mm for insurance), but I’m wondering how this would be measured while I still have braces in since the brackets make it hard to find the actual face of the tooth. Has anyone gone this overjet route and know the answer?
I still have my MARPE in, but stopped turning in December. I got a CBCT scan yesterday and my total airway volume has improved, but my min area was 115mm2, vs. 162mm2 pre-MARPE.
Is this typical for the minimum area to look worse while the MARPE is still installed, even after expansion is complete?

Can y’all help me articulate what exactly is weird about my mouth area? My jaw angle is a little too square, my chin is a little under projected, and my cheeks could use some volume. But my mouth… I can’t tell if it’s an orthodontic issue or what, but it bothers me and I can’t put my finger on it. My lips are plenty full from the front, but from the side they look almost sunken in. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I’m confused. How do I appear so recessed with perfectly average SNA/SNB angles (85.3, 81.3)?
(Average SNA/SNB per Steiner's analysis are 82.98 and 80.37 with a SD of 3.46 and 3.21, respectively)
Would doing CCW rotation be detrimental on the TMJ or some other way? I have a hella deep bite that’s hard to resolve with orthodontics alone and I’m just very confused by my apparent normalness.

Completed MARPE expansion and comparing my before and after side profile, to me it looks like my maxilla dropped a bit and I look more recessed than before. I’m sure my head position is a little different between the two, but thoughts?
