Why on earth are people buying new markers just to turn around 2 - 3 months later to sell them. I see some many "selling my CS3 pro 1k shoots. only used once during practice". Why? If you are not 100% certain that you will love said marker why buy it brand new? Unless you just got money to burn Why?

Im going to my first JXL event and saw that there are Tech Classes that we can take. This seems like a pretty good deal, but I also see used Force V2s are like $750 with cool anno. So Idk if its worth it especially (just me assuming) if we get just a plain one color anno Force. I never thought about ever owning a Force as they never popped up on my radar or have seen anybody use one. Any insight would be helpful.
I like the breathability on the CRBN arm pads but the padding looks to thin and material work get destroyed easily. Not sure about hydra or pro dna comfort/breathability. Im looking mostly for comfort and keeping my arms cool. Im currently playing in texas and its gonna be 105 next week during a tournament. Only ever played rec so this will be my first arm pads. What are yalls experience with these pads. I already use they Hydra knee pads and love them. PFA
Went to a new field today and guess I got a bad batch of paint. Its was really brittle and hard at the same time. I kept breaking paint in the barrel left and right. Probably broke 30 balls. I had broken paint in my hopper and in my pods. I was using a method shocker and a macdev prime xts with .689 inserts. Swapped loaders as well but kept breaking paint. Im guessing the paint seems were bad.
Also every time I got out it was due to paint braking on my equipment not my body. Every hit I had on my body (4 hits) was a bounce. The paint was GI Sports Custom. The paint was also super oily out of the bag. Had to wipe the paint down with a towel first.
One of the other players wasn't having any problems with his paint and claimed that the problem was my markers and thay I just needed to switch to PE if I want to be competitive. Typical PE fan boy thinking PE is the only good marker company
The fact that some field use as cheap of paint as possible is the reason why newer players are more afraid of getting hit. An old field that I used to go to would shoot the cheapest paint they could find and that s*** felt like you were getting hit with ball bearings.
Does anyone know what the fit is like on hydro knee pads? Does it run big or small or just right? I measured my leg multiple times and I am right at the 13 3/4 in. So im not sure if I should go small or Medium
Seeing what would be the market rate for 3 JT impulses. The blue is just for parts only and would cost more to fix than its worth. Both black and pink markers have runaway issues on ramping mode with paint. They both work fine dry firing or if the are in semi, nxl, psp or any other mode. Ive done everything I cam to fix it. Its not a trigger debounce, dwell, lpr problem. Once you cut off the air the marker continues dry firing until you turn off the board. Ive flashed the boards like 5 times and problem still persists. I give up on trying to fix it. Wanting to sell them together. I'm thinking about $400 all together
Which one would you take? Seems like the only difference would be the slap Asa. With a V3 on the mxr it seems like it fixed the problems. I'm debating between the two as they are both the same price on the used Market
Ive been hearing people talk about getting older barrels boring them out to accept freak or freak xl inserts. Has anyone actually done this? Can you send it to just any machine shop or is there a specific one that already done plenty and has a set up already? How much did it cost?

Does anyone use FB marketplace to buy PB equipment? Every listing I see people either dont know what they have and list the markers for a crazy amount or just normal players who want 2x what the marker cost. $250 for an A5, $600 for a Shocker Amp, $1200 for a CS2, $900 for a Luxe X. These are insane prices.
Just wanting to try one out for a weekend and compare it to my other markers. So i do not need or want a special anno that will tack on to the price. Just a simple solid color to keep it as cheap as possible. Especially interested if you have the free flow bolt already. PFA
Im looking just for the back cap to the method shocker. I can provide a replacement one that has the SP engraved. I'm getting my Eric custom anodized and want to put something on the back cap but I can't with the SP engraved on my current back cap.
I haven't played a scenario game in many years and everyone that played hasn't really been that big (100ish people). What's it like with the scenario game like invasion of Normandy or anyother bug named ones? I know it's extremely large but I would think that there would be too many people there. It would just be an absolute cluster f*** while playing. I imagine the is no real strategy (flanking) or movement of the line simply because there are to many people. Nothing but a meat grinder.
My first time taking a marker to a tech and hasnt been that great of an experience. My marker was having runaway firing on its own, breaking paint every 5 balls, inconsistent velocity, trigger not very responsive. He rebuilt it and said it was good to go, took it down to the gun range and nothing about it seemed to change. So I gave it back to him. He rebuilt it again saying he found piece of oring in the solenoid and that my reg seats were blown (idk why the reg seats weren't caught the first time around). So I got the marker back and noticed that the bolt doesn't come out and the tigger is stuck in place. He takes it to the back right quick and makes a few adjustments. He told me that JT impulses are just really crappy guns and never work. He says it's as good as it's going to get and he won't take any more JT impulses. I took it back down to the range and velocity is fine and the trigger is responsive again but it's still running away and breaking paint like crazy.
So I gave up and decided to just try and sell my marker. I brought it home to take the eyes off to clean since it was covered in paint as well as change the battery before I sell it. The frame screw were loose and slightly backed out, my board now only has 1 screw holding it in and my ASA is loose. I fix those then take off the eye cover and saw that one of the wires to the eye was pulled out, o swapped out the eyes. It no longer chops paint but it still has the run away. It only runs away while shooting paint in any ramping mode. Dry firing with air or semi It works perfectly fine. The solenoid still fires after the air is cut off which leads me to believe its a board problem.
IDK why all this stuff was missed but it was. I do blame him for the screws, bolt and trigger. IDK how much I blame him for not finding the broken wire. I tried to fix it for 2 weeks before I gave up and gave it to the tech.
Tldr: Got my marker back from the tech with missing screws, loose screws, stuck trigger, stuck bolt and a broken eye wire after he said it couldn't be fixed.
I have 2 ninja SL tanks one 50 the other 68. Both are currently in hydro but are in the last hydro cycle of the bottle's life. Both have roughly 3 1/2 years left before it hits 15 years. What would the Ninja Pro V2 regs be worth as well after the bottle's are cooked?
Help me make sense of this. Why do people like when markers have their own proprietary batteries? I like the fact that my markers have 9 volts and I can just carry some extra ones to bring to the field just in case. There's also 9 volt rechargeable batteries if people dont like having to keep buying new batteries. I like the idea of 10 years from now I could still get a 9-volt battery when you probably can't get one of the proprietary batteries. Also hooking up your marker to a charge just seems like a pain in the ass.
Planet eclipse is definitely a work horse and super reliable. When it comes to reliability you cant get better than them but the markers they produce just seems so boring to me. They are the toyota of paintball. Reliable but not flashy. I have an LVR and I have mixed feelings on it. I absolutely love the shot of it and the shaft FL barrel is pretty cool but i hate everything else about it. The pops asa is hard for ninja tanks, the trigger feels squishy, the ergonomics are to big (i have smaller hands), the menu is hard to navigate with the buttons that are recessed into the frame. Is this just me or do other people feel this way?
