28 exjw Lancashire looking for lgbt friendly people

Hiya as I said I'm an ex jehovahs witness from Lancashire and I just moved, so kinda lost a lot of connections. Just looking to chat and meet new people. I'm just getting into gaming, really enjoying fable, minecraft, Ryse, and stardew valley. Hoping to get into dnd, tabletop gaming, and other nerdy hobbies. Just kinda trying to find my people tbh. I love cooking, plants, baking, volunteering, me and my partner have three cats, and I love books.

Tell me about yourself, what's your favourite film? What's your favourite book? What's your favourite TV series? What makes you irrationally angry? I wanna know tbh

Looking for LGBT friendly spaces/gaming/friends

Hiya just moved here and would kinda like to find my people. I'm an exjw so all of this is new to me. Would love to try dnd and meet some cool people, just wanna be cautious tbh. I'm not really a drinker, but open to checking out some bars potentially, though would prefer nerdier quieter spaces. Lmk

How do you find queer friendly friends when you're over 25 and don't drink?

Like genuinely making queer friends or friends in general is hard. All the lgbt groups are geared towards young people, and it's just disheartening when you're old as mummy dust and only came out recently. I'm not old enough for over thirties groups, but I'm too old for people just figuring stuff out. I was raised jw and homeschooled, so apart from acquaintances from volunteering, I've never had friends. It's like people can sense that I'm not gay enough or cool enough to be part of their group. Like where do you meat people without running the risk of homophobia?

Senior ex stray keeps ripping his ear

Hi sorry just looking for advice, but not sure if I'm doing this right. My partner has a senior ex stray that kept getting into fights so she took him in. He's a pure white cat and has some really minor scabbing on the very edge of his ear, but he tends to scratch at it as soon as it properly scabs up and starts to heal. He tends to leave it alone for like two or three days, then suddenly walks in with blood smeared all over his ear, neck, and most often a minor crime scene on the bed. It's not a large wound and there's obviously not a lot of blood, but it's fucking horrifying to look at and he's just not letting it heal. Obviously we've been gently cleaning it with boiled water and soft damp tissues, but we could really use another solution. I'm pretty sure aloe vera gel is toxic for cats, so I'm not sure what else to try. If it were anywhere else it'd be easier since we could just shave him and dress him in a onesie til it heals, but it's right on the soft edge of his ear so he keeps ripping it. Is there anything else we can try?
