Fun Fact, Neverland WAS in Part 1

Fun fact, this short clip of Bill during the ‘I’ll Be There’ scene was actually shot at Neverland - and was intended to be contextualised there in the original cut

Childhood Soundtrack Released

The composer for much of the biopic’s music released the non-MJ soundtrack and it includes the scrapped Childhood instrumental

Hopefully they can use it for Part 2

Mouratoglou Resort

Anyone been to the Mouratoglou Academy in France?

Not wanting to coaching just staying at hotel and doing pay and play for 4-5 nights

How’s the food, court availability etc? 🤔

I am currently using the 4NC, but the charging port for the case has deteriorated and a few other non-product related issues

Which is better, the Liberty 4NC vs 4Pro?

I don’t care too much about the extras, mainly just the pure sound

And the price difference doesn’t matter too much

Lionsgate CEO on reshoots and sequel:

- Even before legal issue, he knew that there COULD be a sequel, admits being a bit angry towards the Estate
- The notion of cramming it all into one film would’ve annoyed him
- Original screenplay was 3.5 hours long
- A number of other studios got offered and declined Part 1
- Implies Branca wasn’t allowed on set
- Rest of Bad will likely be in Part 2, as will the Super Bowl
- Confirms settlement CANNOT be included
- In next couple of weeks, will sit down with Fuqua and King to decide a firm vision
- Fuqua and King will listen to the audience and fans about any criticisms of Part 1
- Filming begins this year or next year, Fuqua is very busy (Host says he has heard Graham King may take over as director)

LIONSGATE CEO:

"Look, there's at least one more movie," Fogelson said. "Just speaking less as an employee of Lionsgate and more as a person who has spent a lot of time in the movie business, I was always excited by the possibility that you could make a more complete and satisfying telling of Michael's story if you weren't confined to only one movie.”

"From my perspective, it's important to try to give the audience an authentic understanding of who Michael Jackson was," Fogelson insisted. "So I think that that can be done with or without some of what was in the third act that had to be scrapped."
