I have a rank of 80 approx in merit list gate category, and im from general category, do i have a chance of securing it in later rounds? Or is it gone? Because only 25ish seats are there for general category.

How is a third gen iit that too in extreme north with no IT sector nearby is having average placement of 25lpa+ and that too consistently?
Is it off campus numbers being boasted, or is it for real?
Even iit mandi or gandhinagar or bbs being 2nd gen iits don't have such high numbers.
I got 532 score in Ece with 3.7k rank (gen). And im unemployed since 2024, and now I dont feel like motivated anymore. The energy feels drained. I want to wake up at 6 like I was but all that now feels so hard. I dont feel motivated anymore. I feel exhausted all the way more. I got interviewed at iisc for INS, but that went bad too, and now i feel more tired and not wanting to study. Its like I want to work harder but I m not getting that push in my mind. Last I studied hard was 15th February.
Anybody feeling same?
