Does anyone else like mentally struggle with CC?

I am really annoying myself with this, and yet I can't resign myself to an answer. I play primarily vanilla. I use mods, but CC-wise have very few pieces--a few pack conversions and a couple of hair fixes. Every several months, I go through a phase of thinking I'll incorporate new stuff, downloading a lot of amazing CC, playing around in CAS, and then...just deleting it all. I don't know what my problem is, but it's like...I get itchy having CC.

Today, I'm doing it again. I have Scarlet here who just aged up and I didn't like the hairs available to her. Downloaded nearly 1gb of amazing stuff from QICC and SheaButtyr. Spent hours and two sessions trying it all on, mixing and matching....and then just using a game hair anyway! And I want to rip out this folder of CC, too, AGAIN. I know I can easily just not use it. It doesn't negatively affect anything. But it inexplicably bothers me having in my game. WHY?!

I seriously just inventoried the traits of all my gen 3s

My Crabtrees feel like they're getting little stale, so I'm contemplating mixing things up by moving some of my gen 3s around to different households. For instance, gen 2 Thea has a farm and a horse in Henford;. I wonder if I should trade her kids for nieces/nephews who have gardening- and animal-related traits and interests. Her twin, Rhea, went a more occult route (ironically with a much better garden), so I feel like my proper/chased by death/macabre gen 3s might like to join her in Ravenswood.

Thoughts? How did you mix things up in a game like this?

Also, did you ever shift-delete offspring you didn't like?

I've also been thinking I should pick one to play through a challenge, but I like playing them as is, just growing their skills and lives.

Layers!!1!

I should have waited to update, but I couldn't. I needed teh layersss.

I had to assemble some of my favourite layering experiments. Sure, the quality could be better (and sure, there's a glitch where you get sent back to the top of the page no matter what article of clothing is selected...), but this opens doors, man. What a game-changer. So many weird shirts and dresses are now workable. I especially love how you can just complete a dress now, like the second and fifth ones--both are strapless basegame short dresses, and finally look like whole outfits with a layer.

and the binder having a new galaxy swatch (second top)--I am going to use the hell out of it, especially knowing that we can use a layer as a top itself.

left to right, top to bottom where the main tops/fullbody outfits are for those who want to know: (thank you, pass_me_the_salt)

Sigh. I have two dogs. I HAD two food bowls. I think it's time to fire my klepto butler.

Watcher knows what else she stole that I wasn't aware of

Found out vamps don't like it when you put garlic in their bag

Did you know vampires visualise garlic differently??

I was checking up on my garden and thought my garlic plant was rotting because there were fumes around it. Turns out I was viewing it with a vampire sim active. They have such neat details for vamps!

{I don't hate Kataang. I just hate how it was written.}

The older I get, the more things I find wrong with the ship. I was fine with it at the time. I've been a Zutara/Taang shipper since its airing, but I accepted Kataang and the ending excited me. But the more time passes, the more I analyse the relationship, the more things I find could have been constructed a lot better. I can get behind adult Kataang, but what we were given when they were kids, I struggle with.

The fact that it's up to Katara to coax him out of the destructive Avatar State is one of them. It's weird to me that we're supposed to find it romantic how it's up to a 14-year-old girl to calm a demigod--not only romantic, but a fundamental part of their relationship and their bond. That is so unhealthy to me. I can understand it as an event in the show, when everything was new and the pressure was on, but that it persists later into the comics is problematic. It's like she's got to be his keeper, always there to talk him off the ledge of pandemonium when he can't control himself (just going to scrap the finale character development, I guess?).

It just bothers me how many aspects of how it was written and portrayed are presented like they should be normal, healthy parts of their relationship. Maybe there should be a separate one-off comic where Aang learns how to be emotionally and Avatarily independent instead of relying on this poor kid to stabilise him.

I've very rarely played a vampire, but Ceridwen here, vampire, evil, and shady, recently aged up, and maybe she's a chance to try a different playstyle for once.

I keep losing it when I scroll to the boy knocked out on the ground while she starts yelling at her brother.

Okay, so I've been working on my own cartoon project called "Zody & Leo." I decided to throw in homages to favourite characters and OTPs, like Taang/Zutara here, to help beef up the student body of the main characters' high school. Naturally, that means I'll also need to throw in some, ahem, personal agendas regarding the homages--this little comic, for example.
