PSA: Charley Crockett Tickets Only $35

I was shocked to see that tickets to Charley Crockett at Hayden Homes in a few weeks are only $35!

Like many, I have been underwhelmed by the names coming through and overwhelmed by the price of tickets. So I was pleasantly surprised to see these for $35 (with all the fees included) and not even needing a discount code!

On top of that, Charley is a great musician and song writer, excellent performer, and also just seems like an all around good dude. I particularly love how outspoken he is against the state of current pop-country trash artists. So I am very excited to support him!

How would you prep this?

I noticed gear oil coming out my water intake after my last outing, so pulled the lower unit, lo and behold the water pump seal along the driveshaft was out of place and damaged.

I pulled the old seal off, and the ring it sits in is super corroded. How would you go about cleaning away this corrosion, without damaging the housing so much the new seal won’t fit?

Granted, this is a 30+ year old outboard, so I’m not hoping for perfect. Ok with wonky fixes that will get the job done!

Just Another Reason AI is Utter Trash!

This is not true even though it credits its info from the ODFW page. It’s a simple question. A Google search used to actually mean something! Now, it could get someone in serious trouble if they’re not careful.

Where to buy a new couch?

I am finally at the adult stage in my life of buying a brand new couch. Obligatory I swear this is not a covert post by the vice president, that being said the couch likely will be abused by my dogs a bit.

Where have you had the best experience buying a couch in Bend? I just checked out Furniture Outlet and their stuff seems really well priced, curious if it’s decent quality! The only other new couch I have ever bought was from Fred Meyer and lasted about 3 years before falling apart, won’t make that mistake again.
