My dwarf boa is 2 and already almost 4 ft.

Hey guys ! So my Paraguana peninsula boa is a little over two years old and he’s already almost 4ft. He used to get a mouse every 10 to 14 days or so . Now he’s getting a small rat that leaves a barely visible lump. And I am about to go to every three weeks . He’s lean and muscular do you think maybe he’s just a little on the larger scale for the dwarfs ? Or is he on track ?

Handling questions .

Hey guys so my boa is a dwarf he’s a Paraguana peninsula locality . He’s a very nervous snake. I had to take his shelves out because I couldn’t get him out . I got his cage all together but he is just so nervous all time. He is only 2 and some change he’s never hissed or struck he just runs . Once I can get him out he’s fine he crawls around with long tongue flicks . I don’t know what I’m doing wrong I don’t handle him a ton mostly because he’s so nervous maybe I just start handling him more ? Any ideas would help . Thanks guys !

I changed up juniors cage . Went with a different substrate and I plan on putting a water filter in his bowl probably tonight . :)

Re homing questions if anyone can help .

Hello . I have a question about re homing . I have a dwarf Paraguana peninsula boa named junior I may need to re home. I got him in august of 2024 produced by Richard hunt He’s on frozen thawed mice rats and quail. He is in a 4x2 . He’s a little skittish when initiating handling but he has never struck or hissed he’s awesome. But my son is autistic and he needs a lot of attention. He is quite scared of snakes and it’s kind of causing a problem. I really don’t want to re home him . But I am reaching out just in case to get some information . Junior is a good boy in the case I have re home him I need him to go to a good home any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you !
