First time posting a permanent track (not counting my RTD Challenge 64 post), apologies if the presentation's not that good.
Shoutout AJ for finishing 7th and running Top 10 most of the day despite having no manufacturer support. (no glaze) I legitimately think he could have been fighting with McDowell/Gibbs/Zilisch had he had a better car. (definitely no glaze). He is the best driver on the grid. (absolutely no glaze) Running consistently up front is exactly what this team needs to get into the Chase. (just a reminder, no glaze)
Hey, I'm a new Indycar fan, first started watching for this year's St. Pete GP although I've been watching 500's for years.
I've got the gist of who's good so far (Palou, Kirkwood, Malukas, Newgarden, O'Ward, Lundgaard), but I don't really know everyone. Who would you all say are equivalents in Indycar to NASCAR or F1 drivers? Obviously Palou is Verstappen/Larson, but is there any other similarities in your eyes?
Unless I did some math wrong, there is a 155-point gap between Reddick and Blaney and a 136-point gap between Blaney and Logano, which means technically Blaney is closer to falling out of the Chase than getting the points lead.
What changed in qualifying? From his rookie year in 2008 to 2023 he had ZERO poles, but then in 2024 he knocked off SIX and got two more in 2025. How did he do this well despite not showing any promise previously?
Sorry if there's something completely obvious I missed, I'm a new NASCAR fan who started watching in late 2024 so anything specific before then I'm not really aware of
Tried to make it in a similar style to EllyProductions' thumbnails
