In America, chicken has no flavour, it's all flavoured by sauce

I swear these are bots with these shit takes but who even knows these days. Apparently food in America is automatically flavourless and needs sauce. Those chickens are just SO bland ya know

No brigading please! This is an active post right now.

Heritage Bricks Special Edition trains finally came!

Super excited to finally be able to build and display them! I had put my order in the end of February and they finally shipped out

And I dont think more will be made, but Heritage Bricks is always doing special edition things, worth paying attention to their website for more cool Vancouver builds

Just FYI you can make ANY Sprite or Gingerale flavour you want at home

I always see people wanting new flavours. I get it, I get excited too

But yesterday I had the biggest stoner breakthrough of my life. I took sugar-free raspberry syrup and put it in a glass. And then poured a zero-sugar Sprite into it. It was amazing and way better than any other Sprite flavour I have had.

Then later I wanted to try it again so I did it with zero-sugar Gingerale and tried (no calorie) orange tangerine liquid water enhancer. Even better.

Obviously you can use full sugar options if you want, I can not see it being bad either. I have completely changed how my house enjoys soda lmao and now I don't have to wait for special flavours to come out

(I don't know why I never thought of this - but I got the idea thinking about the Freestyle machines and realizing the syrup I bought is not much different from what they use in those)

Fish oil and IBS-D

I am experimenting taking fish oil for various unrelated IBS reasons, but the issue is, it's causing me to flare up pretty bad. I've only been taking it 3 or 4 days now so it's still new to my system but it's fucking bad. I'm going to try and take it with some fibre pills and see if that helps, but does anyone else take fish oil and have IBS-D? How do you cope? Is timing with a meal a better idea? I normally take my vitamin D pills right in the morning and I paired the fish oil with it due to how it helps absorb vit D. But I take on an empty stomach.

Photo dump of my newish void Odin

We have had him for just over 3 months now. I adopted him from the SPCA who said he was a stray with an unknown background. He might have been abused, he is still very scared of my partner and is only just now not running from him when he notices he's being watched. He has a weird spot on his tail from a previous injury too. He is quite small and still hides during the day. However in the mornings and evenings he is venturing out and attempting to play with my other cat, and also learning when to yell at me for food lol. He is so so sweet and loves belly runs and head scritches (he must have grown up with humans due to how sociable he is with me which makes me think someone threw him out on the street or he ran away). He is just over a year old but is only about 8lbs, just a tiny guy.

Anyway I thought I would share his progress, all photos in order from oldest to newest
