I’m not sure there’s an actual answer to this out there but here goes: Say you’re in a ship hovering over a planet when the repulsorlifts completely fail and the ship starts falling. Would the artificial gravity prevent you from feeling weightless as you fell?

Just something dumb that popped into my head.

I noticed that Hawks wields a DT-12 in the intro cutscene, but it doesn’t appear to be one of the blaster pistol options. Anyone here know what’s up with that?

I know Gunslingers have a separate blaster pistol for one of their abilities, is it maybe an option for that? Or maybe more models become available as you play?

Do we have a good idea of how fast sublight engines can go?

Like, in the Mandalorian, they go from Tatooine to Trask on sublights, and I’m pretty sure Trask is in another solar system. I don‘t think we know how long it took them, but it couldn't have been more than a few days, or else they’d have starved. Not to mention they got sidetracked in-between. How fast do we think they were going?

That’s just one example, though, and I’m asking more generally, so if you have any idea how fast you can go on sublights based on some other source, I want to hear that too.

Silly question: If the Star Fox team somehow wound up in the galaxy far, far away, are there any endemic aliens they might be mistaken for?

Slippy could easily be mistaken for a Querm Rybet, but what about the rest?

I had a recent revelation: Across the canon video games, there are three main, player characters with little sidekicks who ride on their backs.

Iden Versio & Dio, Cal Kestis & BD-1, and Kay Vess & Nix.

If I had a nickel for every time, I would have three nickels, and you know what? That‘s getting to be a lot of nickels. Not that I’m complaining.

Which alien species do you hope are available as customization options?

Assuming there are still some we haven’t seen in promos. My fingers are crossed for Mon Calamari.

Do the B’omarr Monks even know that Jabba took over their temple?

They’re apparently all about sensory deprivation, do they have any idea what’s going on around them?

Most important canon comics?

Which comics, in your opinion, have the greatest impact on or implications for the overarching universe? In whatever way you interpret that; no wrong answers.

I want to get into the comics but there are so many that I don’t think I’ll ever get around to reading them all, so I’m trying to narrow them down. Thanks in advance.

Something I’ve noticed across Star Wars media: conversations spoken in Basic by one participant and Huttese by the other.

Of course this originates with Han and Greedo, but that can likely be explained by their unwillingness to indulge one another by speaking in the other’s native tongue. But can anyone think of a reason why two beings on good terms wouldn’t just pick just one of those languages which they both obviously know to communicate with? I guess it’s cultural, but what would the underlying reasoning be, I wonder. Maybe the Huttese speaker must speak only Huttese for cultural reasons, but why then would the Basic speaker not use Huttese as well when speaking to them?

In the US, how silly can you get when writing a will while having it still be legally binding?

For instance, could I say that if I died while wearing a red shirt that my stuff will go to one person, but otherwise it goes to another?

I noticed that the Canon article for Dathomirians on Wookieepedia calls them a subspecies of Zabrak, rather than Human-Zabrak hybrids as they were in Legends. Does anyone know which entry in Canon established this?

Can’t think of more to add that the title doesn’t already cover except that I find it interesting since this would make Morgan Elsbeth a Zabrak despite looking very, very human.

Star Wars Outlaws is great and I’m disappointed we’re not getting a sequel.

I picked it up on sale a week or so ago and it’s a solid A in my book. I’m coping by telling myself the sequel would probably be ruined by some scummy decision or another since this is Ubisoft we’re talking about. Sour grapes and all that. But part of me still wants more.

Edit: Reddit’s being wonky and not letting me actually see replies outside of my notifications in order to reply to them, but people are asking what I liked about it and I’ve come to the realization that, while this was a new experience for me, many of you are already bored of the formula. So to answer the question: I like it for the same reason you liked these Ubisoft open-world games the first time you played them.

On top of that, I’m a big Star Wars fan, and I really enjoyed the stories and ideas this added to the universe. Star Wars is like a mental toy box for me, I like adding cool things to that box.

Did kyber crystals still find their way into the hands of force-sensitives some way after the destruction of the Jedi Order and, more to the point, after the destruction of Illum?

I guess what I’m essentially asking is: If you were a force-sensitive with no access to Illum, would you likely never have the opportunity to build a lightsaber?
