So I just got my babies new cages in and maybe I'm just super overworried about something not to worry about. But I got Emmy a new set up but he refuses to leave his room now? He used to just want out asap but now hes a content Goober inside and refuses to step up or even leave his room? Am i just overreacting about this? Is he that happy he doesn't want to leave? Or is there something else happening? There are only two places he goes. Where he is shown in the pic and on his seashell where his green ball is (green ball has been with him since i picked him up years ago)

(To those who commented under my last post about one of the plastic linings for underneath, i gotta wait until my next paycheck to buy them ♡ I am listening to your advice. Its just out of my budget right now esp because I had to buy two of these cages ♡)

I'm so happy with their new rooms. They have sooooo much more room to roam around now. They used to be in these tiny cages with like 2 perches temporarily for sleep until I was able to afford these two. (Yeah ik the dowel is in there going to be removing that when i have enough perches bought for them.)

Does anybody have suggestions on how to help me clean these? I have a major depression disorder and its honestly draining me a lot. Do you guys put reminders in your phones? Certain times of the day when you clean them? I just want to make sure these stay clean for the babies q-q

These two monsters are going through toys like crazy. Lmao I have a subscription to SquawkBox but holy damn it didn't used to be like this 😭 I just gave them two new toys and they're already gone.

Any suggestions on toys that last longer than a day or two?

I am very confused. My lil one (i have 2 quakers. 1 cocktiel). Tiki is the youngest at less than 2yrs old. I just got my newest baby this christmas.

Tiki does this every now and then and will come up to me and sing songs and give kisses both in sound and like on my face lmao but heaven forbid I ever try to give her scritches or do uppies. She lets me give her kisses (actual head kisses or/and beak kisses) and sing to her. But she hates my hands. She gets offended and thinks its the end of the world.

Is this common for quakers? My older quaker Luma (5yr old) loves scritches and cuddles. Maybe its a dislike/like thats different for all birbs? Idk. Some help would be nice lol

Hi! So I've never gotten a tattoo before but I'm wondering if something like this would be possible or look good on the skin. I included a couple pictures of the bird I'm talking about later on this post.

I'm thinking about getting a tattoo of this:

- The bird in the pic in a circle like the example

- The bird made out of water instead of being an actual feathered bird

- A semi colon in the middle of the circle also

- Very water like theme

Why?

- I love birds. I'm a bird mom.

- Bird comes from FFXIV which I love playing

- Bird also symbolizes depression at seeing the world has no joy and people are born just to suffer. I also have depression. (For those who never played. She is sent to other worlds to gather data on civilizations outside where she came from. She travels to the end of the universe but only sees destruction, murder, planets dying and she's like: Nah imma destroy all of this and be done with it. (Shes still a baby. Poor kiddo))

- I am a suicide survivor. It's something that I had to overcome quite a few times. I've had honestly a pretty rough life its getting better though.

- I love the water. I feel home when I'm close to the water (yeah im Pisces. I'm very watercoded in my chart. Idk if that's a reason why. lol) I just have a very unexplainable love for water.

Name: Lan Veylen-Seliora (new) Duke of Seliora (in Begnion) (Lord class who uses lances)

(Killed his father to save his sister. He's reforming his home to make it safer for Miori when he does eventually get her out. He spends 16 years of his life looking for her. He finally finds her at the end of Radiant Dawn) Tormod would be proud of this bean. Lan is reforming his entire home to help with helping Laguz feel more at home in Begnion and equal rights for them.)

Name: Miori Veylen (Archsage. tomes (elemental magic. Mainly fire. She needed to keep herself warm)

(Baby sister. Father shamed and neglected her cuz her mom died during childbirth and when Lan left to be part of the Begnion Central Army, he hid her away for 16 years (she was 8 when he hid her. Lan is 11 years older than her.) claiming she was dead the entire time. She basically was alone this entire time only to be checked on by her father's laguz slaves then they killed to cover everything up. Laguna was going to be the next victim if Lan didn't save him. 😭)

Name: Laguna (Tiger Laguz. uses transformation. He turns into a black tiger with blue markings and like bright cyan eyes.)

(Lan's advisor to reforming Seliora. Tiger Laguz c: a very serious guy prone to rolling his eyes over Lan's childish antics but will still follow him. Lan saved Laguna when the previous duke (the one from the game) tried to kill him trying to cover up Miori’s disappearance...)

Hey. So im commissioning someone for 3 pieces of art (3 book characters) for a fire emblem path of radiance art style but something just looks off about the "sketch" phase. She sent me a line art not a sketch and something just idk. I just want to be safe than sorry when I eventually pay her?

1. i asked for an update on the sketch phase for when i send payment. This is a line art? I've commissioned so many things in the past (i usually go through my friend but i wanted something different for this time) and its just too clean to be a sketch?

2. the scarf melted into the capelet and doesn't have the part of the scarf that's infront of the chest

3. scarf also doesn't have the rose emblem on it

4. the extra chain on the temple?

There are inconsistencies only a human artist can do like some of the lines break out slightly, double lining too but idk. Maybe I'm overthinking it? I will be deleting this after getting an answer. Thank you ♡

I'm really happy how she turned out and i absolutely love how Frank's art turned out too. Her name is Ariana Alycia. Her father's name (the other pic) is named Frank Alycia.
