Title says it all. We saw what we believe were the same planes and/or helicopters (or both) circling during the show. Even during the finale it looked like they were going right through the fireworks but it was hard to tell the elevation difference. Were these plane/helicopter tours offered during the fireworks show, or something else?
With the eastern prom trail being closed tomorrow, is it possible to bike from the back cove trail to eastern prom without biking on busy roads (Franklin, marginal way, etc)? I’ve been looking at Google Maps but it’s hard to tell if some of the paths around eastern prom are just walking trails or if they are for biking too. Thanks!
I get a very itchy rash on my neck anytime I use it that takes days to heal. Anyone else? Cortisone cream has been helping.
I just bought Amlactin (green and white bottle) to use instead but I’m afraid I’ll get a rash from that too.
At around 7pm on Saturday night, I passed by a 30ish tall male wearing a NYY tank top who had a white puppy on a leash. Guy was standing up but eyes closed, wobbly, and looked unable to walk. Every time the dog pulled a bit on the leash, the guy would yank the dog back very hard (and never opened his eyes). The guy appeared to be in distress/having a medical incident/on drugs and I felt terribly for the poor puppy. I called the non-emergency line to see if a wellness check could be performed and halfway through the call the responder had to answer a 911 call but said they’d send someone out to check. I’ve been thinking about this ever since and hope he and the puppy are ok. Has anyone seen this guy walking around and saw the situation I described? It’s a heavily residential area with lots of dog walkers so hoping someone knows this guy or has an update.
I grew up seeing DMB in CT in the 1990s for like $30-$40. Fast forward 30 years and I now live somewhere else and saw DMB was playing near me this summer. Went onto Ticketmaster to see about getting tickets and it is $150 for LAWN tickets (!!!) and ranging from $300 to over $1k for seats. Yes I know it’s been a while since I’ve seen them live but is this right?!
Our 10+ year old Japanese Maple suddenly died with no buds this spring. The first pic is from last month. We just noticed some new buds and leaves forming on the trunk. What should we do? Just leave it and see what happens, or should we cut some dead branches so the energy is going to the new growth?
Had a diagnostic mammogram/ultrasound last week after nodular density was found on my annual mammogram. Turns out I have a cluster of five “complex-ish” cysts that are “likely benign”. They recommended I come back in 6 months to see if they’ve changed at all, but do you think I should ask for a biopsy? I would think if they were concerned at all they would want to do a biopsy (I’ve already had a biopsy for microcalcifications), but then started worrying that if it’s anything serious it’s better to know now than in 6 months. Thoughts?

am 43 with dense breast tissue detected in my first annual mammogram with no follow-up. My second annual mammogram had micro calcifications - I got additional imaging and a biopsy and it was benign. My third annual mammogram had no changes.
Fast forward to my 4th annual mammogram which was this week. Got the call back that there was nodal density seen in my right breast behind the nipple measuring 8mmx9mm. I have additional compression imaging scheduled for next week, and they also scheduled an ultrasound right after just in case it’s needed.
I have health anxiety so am fluctuating between thinking it is just overlapping tissue/benign cyst to cancer. I feel like I’ve scoured the internet but could really use some positive stories about “nodal density” specifically. My appointment isn’t for 7 days but I’m on the waitlist in case something opens up earlier. Thanks in advance!
