I work in retail where they're tightening up our dress codes ((rip wearing my cargos)), we can wear collared or high neck black,white, or navy shirts, and black or khaki pants/knee length shorts. Any ideas on what I should be looking for or what subtle things I can add to make my style more noticeable? We can wear some accessories, but can't do my hair too crazy, and need to stay looking somewhat professional.

So I'm dumb and didn't realize you had to renew your prescription every 7 months, along with renewing the card after a year... My physician wants to charge me 150 bucks, is this a normal price? Anybody have any recommendations on where to get this done cheaper? Or will transferring to another physician end up costing me more in "new patient fees"? I'm in Orlando but I assume I can get this done via telehealth. Bonus if they're open today on Sunday!

Saw him in Tampa last night and copped the tour poster, anybody know the sizing of it? I'm gonna get it framed.

We broke up in April after almost 4 years of being together ((would've been 4 years in June)), and it's his birthday today. I thought about how last year, his birthday was one of the funnest weeks of my life. We went on a trip to Georgia with all of our friends, and he was supposed to propose to me. Life seemed so much better then, and I miss him so much. I texted him a happy birthday and he thanked me, but man I'd give anything to be celebrating his birthday with him again. I wish I didn't have so much baggage and I wish I wasn't such an emotional wreck that chased him away and made him break up with me.

My mom died a few weeks ago and for some reason this is hurting more, or just making things feel worse, I can't tell. There's a slight chance he'll see this and it'll just confirm everything he thinks about me probably, but I'm just so broken and miserable without him, wtf is wrong with me?

Okay, after the backrooms movie I've been wanting to seek out more liminal spaces in the area. I've been to fashion square a million times, and West oaks a dozen times as well. I also know of majority of the liminal feeling places in Disney. Is there anywhere else you can think of? Please let a gal know! Mostly looking to take pics and videos.

I was born in NY but unfortunately moved to Florida ((as most do)) when I was young, so I haven't visited NY in probably 20ish years. My mom unfortunately passed a few weeks ago and we're holding the memorial there next week, as she has her family and friends there. I'm mostly going to be spending time with family on long island, but want to try and go into the city to make myself feel better, here's a few things I'm looking for... And you can tell me how realistic and unrealistic doing some of these things are, and what you think is worth it or not. I'm also including a few places I want to go, and you can tell me, again, if I'm being unrealistic about how much time I'd had to get from place to place. Again, keep in mind, haven't been in years, and this is a super last minute trip.

1. Looking to go to any Gothic or alternative clothing stores.

2. Oddities shops, or weird museums

3. Any vintage/retro toy stores that might sell old monster high and MLP dolls for decent prices

4. Places with sanrio stuff ((preferably vintage!))

5. I'd like to go see a Broadway play if I have time, I'm between moulin rouge and Chicago, which is better?

6. I want to live out my SATC fantasies, where should I get a good, decently priced cosmopolitan?

7. A good bodega ((preferably with a bodega cat??))

8. Stele or lucky scent ((which is cheaper and around the general area of some of the other things I'm interested in?))

9. Is the Disney store in times square worth it? I live in Orlando and work at Disney, so if I'm going to see most of the same stuff I see there, I might skip it.

10. Anywhere retro! I love anything with a 50s-80s aesthetic so if there's anywhere you can think of that would have those vibes, please let me know!

Been getting back into the series and noticing how Disney+ has some seemingly weird cuts for the episodes. I'm on season 3 episode 18, "party crasher" and at the end as everyone's leaving adriens house, Gabriel looks out the window and goes "hmm" for about half a second and it cuts to the credits? I've noticed some other weird cuts but this was the most obvious, is it just my TV?

One of my best friends birthdays is coming up and I was thinking about getting her a subscription since we've been seeing a lot of movies together recently. I have a-list right now and wanna know if I could get her the subscription at a discounted rate? If not, when would be the best time to get it for the lowest price? I'm kinda a new member so I'm not sure how it all works, her birthday is mid May. Thank you!
