"You would not believe what I found at that little market by the docks!" Corali announced, pushing open the cabin door with his hip, his arms laden with parcels encased in his wooden basket.

Ti'gre, the Alfiq quartermaster's head swiveled from where he'd been curled atop a pile of navigational charts. The Alfiq's golden eyes narrowed, and he huffed; hopefully this spoiled brat will see him resting and leave him alone. Yet, Corali was still shaking the basket with a big fat smile on his face. The clink of metal and the rustle of fabric drowning out any hope of peace. Ti'gre had learned to not miss his voice, but when it came to the Altmer brat, he sure wished he had it.

"Oh, I am so happy you sent me there; it was the very last place I would expect fine Altmerian craftsmanship to be. Your people's tastes have exceeded my expectations." The Mer's fingers danced over the parcels like a child unwrapping a gift. Careless, eager, utterly delighted by his own indulgence. Ti'gre’s tail twitched. He hadn’t asked for trinkets; he asked for food, nothing more.

Then something tumbled onto the table, its fabric wrapping unraveling to reveal a gold, Altmerian earring set, just his size. It was ridiculous but utterly perfect, completely in Ti'gre's taste. The Alfiq's ears flicked backward, but his whiskers betrayed him with the slightest twitch of interest. What else does this elf have in store? Corali grinned as Ti’gre’s nose twitched toward the basket. "Ah, but wait!" the Mer teased, pulling out a fur-lined collar adorned with a pink silk bow. Yeah... no.

Corali held it up, letting the silk ribbon flutter between his fingers. "See? Lined with fox fur from the north." Ti'gre's eyes widened; he'd look ridiculous! "And look—" Corali tapped a tiny, hidden clasp. "It opens! No need to fuss with buckles when you’re grooming! "Oh, pink is so your color!"

Ti'gre flattened his ears and growled. "Oh please, I'd love to see it on you. It is not your style, I know. But these are." The Altmerian earring dangled mockingly between Corali’s fingers. Ti'gre could not resist...

Malen and Shahar stood at the cabin door, amazed. "Cory, you do realize that is a grown-ass Khajiit, right?" Malen commented. "And our second in command..." Shahar added.

"Not just any Khajiit, my ash-skinned friend, a gentleman." Corali winked, then continued to fawn over his furry masterpiece. Ti'gre's pride was practically drained at this point. He could feel his dignity unraveling faster than the silk ribbon on that ridiculous collar. But the earrings... stars above, the craftsmanship was exquisite. A traitorous purr rumbled in his throat before he could choke it back.

I have been Job searching for a year, and now all of a sudden I have reached my limit

I am turning 20 this year. I finished a crappy paid internship a year ago, and ever since I have been job searching and trying to learn to drive. My parents are very busy, and I have really bad driving anxiety, so I paid for driving classes. I live in a small city, so there was really only one program around, and that cost me almost $800. Which was more than half of my bank account. I am now working off scraps and have been desperately searching for a job for a year now.

You all know the story: rejection after rejection. It has been a year and I have not even been asked for an interview, even for the jobs that I am very qualified for. Recently, a dream job of mine came up. I live next to a library, and my dream was to always work in one. Libraries were my safe space growing up, and my student job back in high school was being a librarian's assistant. It does not pay the best, sure, but I will take anything.

I went through the job description, and it was PERFECT; they needed someone with at at least a year of experience. Check. Someone with computer and archival skills. Check. And someone who was willing to help in the youth programs. Check, I even studied ECE for 4 years, and my internship was as a childcare assistant. I applied and felt so good. I qualified for everything, and I could literally walk there; I did not need to worry about driving. I had to be perfect.

Not even 24 hours later, I got an email saying that I did not qualify... I don't even think they went through my application. For the first time in a long time I was happy, and now I am back to the dingy hole of job searching and hearing my OLD AND DECREPIT BOOMER family member talk about how "easy" it was back in their day and how "I must be doing something wrong."

I am probably just going to do FIFO and hope that a machine crushes me or I die of heatstroke in Australia.

To the person who just took down their Native American OC post

Prob gonna get taken down but I take this stuff seriously

If you cannot handle simple advice and criticism that you asked for on your post, please stop working on that OC. People gave you so much good advice in that comment section. I implore you to heed their advice. No one hates you, accountability and knowledge is needed when it comes with this kind of stuff.

No one thinks you are bad. Learning is apart of being an artist.

Edit: One of the comments I made on the post:

"When it comes to indigenous cultures, "some" research is not enough. The wendigo design is cool, however they are not commonly represented like that in the actual stories. It is a stereotype. Best advice I can give is like I said earlier, LOTS and LOTS of research.

I have an OC who is NiitsitapiI, I spent months researching both the past and modern lives of the tribe. I even did on site research when I visited the reservation in Montana. If that seems excessive or annoying then you shouldn't make a character apart a culture like that, ESPECIALLY if you plan to make a whole series.

Though you may mean well, making media based off of real cultures still holds weight and there is a real possibly of "profiting" off them. PLEASE do more research and maybe get into contact with real tribal members."

Again if you see this post, no one hates you, the comments you got were very much a good thing.

Edit 2: I am using very light language because this person seemed to be younger and possibly a minor. This is also why I am hesitate to use screen shots, I'd hate for them to be harassed.

Finished my first digital art piece, a bit disappointed

Finished my first ever digital art piece. It is Morrowind fanart inspired by Gustav Klimt, one of my fav artists of all time.

Though now I am finished, I am greatly disappointed with the result. I want to share it with other ES fans but it just didn’t come out how I wanted and it hardly compares to the other inspired/fanart prices I have seen.

I have tried to do shadows, lighting, rendering, and all that, but it is just a little too hard for me right now.

When you see this piece, what tips and advice come to mind?

Nocturnal, Mother of Shadows | Elder Scrolls

My interpretation of the Daedric Prince of shadows from Elder Scrolls, Nocturnal! I actually owe a lot of the assets used in this model to the HF community; you guys are much more talented than I am.

I really wanted to give her the bird feet that she had in her concept art, but HF made it look so bad, so I went with my other idea of giving her galaxy-like skin on her arms and legs.

The cloak, top, and pose came from OzMar7th and Somcleverusername!

Hope you guys enjoy it! :)

Nocturnal, Mother of Shadows | Hero Forge

My interpretation of the Daedric Prince of shadows, Nocturnal! It has been a while since I have posted a model on here, so I thought it would be nice to come back with one of the most requested characters people have wanted me to do. (I wonder why)

I love all of her appearances, but her concept art and first appearance in Daggerfall always stuck with me the most, so I followed that inspiration. I actually owe a lot of the assets used in this model to the HF community; they are much more talented than I am.
