Wire type for underground conduit to sub-panel?

Replacing a 3 wire aluminum run to a 100 amp subpanel in a detached garage. Runs through a 1-1/4 conduit.

I'm getting conflicting information if I can use 4-4-4-6 copper SER cable in conduit in a wet location. I want to use copper.

Can I use SER? If not.. what should I be looking for?

Lane Shark + Grapple for land management?

This is more of a land/forest management question but not sure where else to go.

I've got a little over a mile of forest line that's slowly creeping in, as it does.

If I had a spare 100k I'd get a Skidsteer and a forestry mulcher, but I don't.

I've got a L2502 - Is a laneshark, a grapple, and a chainsaw to deal with bigger stuff the right answer? Any other attachments out there I should be looking at?

Footers for deck/roof?

This deck was in pretty bad shape, so what was going to be a quick 3 day project to replace is turning into a typical remodel nightmare and I seek advice/confirmation.

Deck was in bad shape, and was sloping away from the house. Second photo you can see where at some point one of the posts was cut and that abortion of a post was installed. It was sitting on maybe one bag of concrete 18 inches below ground. I pulled that out and installed a 4 foot 12 inch sonotube.

Curiosity got the best of me so I dug out next to two of the remaining posts. Both are 2 feet in the ground, sitting on loose gravel. So I assume over the past 20 to 30 years this thing has been here, it's been slowly sinking.

Frost level here is 36 inches give or take depending where you look.

I assume the right thing to do is replace all of the posts and add concrete footers like the one I've already placed.

Tell me I'm right so I can start drinking and hate myself for starting this project.

I have a (new to me)  JT with a hodge podge lift that I want to replace a "complete" Rock Krawler lift. I like the look of how it sits today, so I’m curious if I should be looking at a 2 or 3 inch lift. As a point of reference the front springs in it today are Teraflex 3.5” lift.

Everyone measures "lift" differently so the numbers are squishy on a good day. Anyone with either a 2 or 3 inch RK lift that can shed some light?
