A Game Changer

I always had problem with weight of coffee in and out from my SBP grinder. Sometimes loosing 1 gram and didn’t know how to get the rest from inside the grinder 😵‍💫.

I was a user of Eureka Mignon Specialita with 1 dose cup, so it has a pump. Was considering to have 1 dose cup for SBP but then i found the silicone (or rubber?) pumping extension for Sage/Breville online . And today was my 1st time using it and that thing works!

Hopefully it will last long..

Anybody has the same experience?

Is Too Good To Go still exciting nowdays??

Hi a newbie in NL here.. was able to make 2x Bram Ladage order thru TGTG and i think it’s worth it for 1 kg half done fries for 4,99.

1 time tried Novotel breakfast, got 1 fully packed box of salad and mix with everything else plus 1 sack of bread (pic).

I would like to try groceries section but do we get still fresh stuffs? Is Hoogvliet giving fair amount?

Would love to have any store recommendations from you all based on experience, especially in Den Haag.

Or any speciality stores that i should try? Thx!!

FAILED to make fries from real potato

So i followed the recipe from the apps. Airfry 190C for 13 minutes and 205C for 7 minutes. I use VCO seasalt black pepper and onion powder. I put in the basket with paper liner in the inner pot.

The ‘crispy’ part already finished but it was more dry in the edge of cuts. This pic shows the left over. They are all soggy.

Please share your best way to make fries. Im using Ultimate Lid

Never got the right microfoam 🥲

Well i sometimes got one, but really struggled to read if the milk is done or over done or even not yet done.

Im with Sage/Breville Barista Pro. A new one, and I’m excited coz the steam hole is 3 l, better to make steam milk (that’s what i heard). Today i was steaming milk following all the instructions i have ever learned : nozzle at 9, not to deep, i tilt the stainless steell, paper tearing sound and waited until the milk raised.

But i never got the timing right. I stopped and i thought i already have the microfoam. I check the milk temp and stated 64C. I was quite sure i got one.

But when i pour the milk is so thin like separate with the foam above it. So i scoped the foam an put on top.

I have no more idea how i can understand if the microfoam is formed. Please help 😇😇

Help me with my result..

Hi this is 3 weeks from my buy. I have BBP. Please help me to analyze my espresso process. I still use supermarket bean and found reco from reddit post also. These are my data :

Coffee bean : Hema 4, medium roast (but somehow i feel this is more to dark).
Setting internal grinder is 6 (not changed), external grinder is 12.
Water temperature level in bar 3 (middle bar)
Already try to make a good temp and open the drop tunnel (i dunno the name) just to make sure it is ok. But the left side always like that. If i move to grinder size 11, it chocked.
1st drop in 8 sec, but not crema (like it shows in the video.

I still think i need more crema 😂

Pls let me know how to fix this..

Thank you..
