Especially asking my fellow veterans in CD2. TIA.

NV02 candidate David Flippo's financial disclosure statement is public, and it contains income from the VA for "Combat Disability Pay." I have not seen mention of combat-related injuries or a Purple Heart in the media. Have you seen anything?

If not, how does a veteran receive this pay?

Joe Lombardo was standing in front of Trump today when Joe reportedly said that we should feel sorry for billionaires.

The media and Democrats will go crazy with this. Before they do, could someone give the context of what Joe was really trying to say? Did he even say that? I’m trying to be fair. Thanks.

"County officials confirmed Wednesday that Lisa McClure has resigned, after just three months on the job."

This comes after the position was held for a year by an interim employee. Does anyone know why they can't keep someone permanent in the job?

I've played "John" 30-ish times and he's won twice. His games are not hard, even though I'm a 1200-average player. For context, he's 70 and I'm 64.

He continues to offer to play. My personal policy is to accept all challenges, but I feel like a real **** when I win with John.

What is your experience playing someone in this situation?

On today's walk on the east side of the freeway: a beaver, an egret, and three big pelicans storks. The third pelican stork is behind the two.

I didn't know CC had beavers, but this guy was dragging reeds around for nest building. Learned something new.

imo, TBBT hit its stride when Penny showed up drunk at Leonard's door and told him that she could no longer tolerate idiots. For me, this is when Penny began to grow into her potential, and the show followed along.

For the record, I like Zack, but when she let Leonard get to her, Zack was done.

As for when TBBT jumped the shark, about as close as I come is the Nobel Prize story line. I get the premise and everything, but I wanted a more balanced end of the series that featured all characters.

As an aside, YS was excellent from opening to close. Any series that breaks us like that at the end: [chef's kiss]. No sharks.

I never gave Mary's in-your-face Christianity a second thought because my mother was the same, depending on her religion at the moment. (I wish I was joking, but no.)

Sheldon's atheism, on the other hand, still has me doing a double take, maybe because you don't see in-your-face atheism on TV as much as Mary's beliefs.

Including TBBT, which of Sheldon's was the most controversial in your opinion?

Got an email that said: "As a holder of Fan Stock in Oakland Ballers Baseball Club, Inc., we are writing to request your consent to an amendment to your 2024 Fan Rights Agreement and 2024 Fan Voting Agreement." When I went in the portal, I think it said the amendment is being amended. I did not see on the dashboard if I should go someone place else.
Did anyone else get the email and/or try to access the e-docs? TIA. (edited: typos)

When someone is receives the MOH, sometimes we see the phrase "upgraded to the MOH." Does the recipient keep the original, often another very high medal that was originally awarded (though not as high as the MOH)?
