Best upgrade I've done yet - steering wheel upgrade on '23 XL

Had option of carbon fiber but I prefer leather. Took about 30 minutes, including time spent finding tools so like 10 minutes wrench time.

State of the stack - 3 years since last sell down

Had to nearly fully liquidate when I bought my house so just building back up.

Over time I'm going to trade the ounce and half ounce krugs for pre-33 or vintage pesos.

How often did you take rides from strangers / hitch hike as a kid?

I grew up in the country, my town was like 1500 people at the time. I walked home from school until 7th grade when after school sports started, but before then like once or twice a week someone that I didn't know their name or maybe saw around town a few times would offer me and my friends a ride home and we pretty much always took it. Or in the summer riding bikes to friends houses or the swimming pool, about half the time there or back someone in a truck would offer to toss the bike in the back and take me the rest of the way.

I assuming this wasn't common in suburbs/cities even in the 90s but curious about my fellow country bumpkins.
