Premature Ovarian Failure -POI

**I’m writing this because reading through your posts over the last few days has honestly brought me so much peace. For a long time, I felt entirely isolated, but seeing your stories made me realize I’m not alone in what I've been going through.**
**A bit of my background: In 2024, I was diagnosed with a prolactinoma, and my hormones were completely out of whack. Fast forward to now—I just turned 36 a couple of days ago, and my doctor now strongly suspects Primary Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) based on my latest labs showing low AMH and high FSH.**
**Looking back, these symptoms really started hitting me when I was 33. Like so many of you, my concerns were completely dismissed by doctors who blamed it all on "just anxiety" because of my age. It is so incredibly frustrating to know something is off with your body but have it brushed aside.**
**Now that I finally have a doctor who is looking at the actual data, I’m trying to prepare myself for what’s next.**
**Is anyone else here dealing with POI specifically? For those of you who started Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), what has your experience been like? Did it help clear up the brain fog, fatigue, or other symptoms?**
**Thank you all for creating such a supportive space. It means more than you know just to read your stories.**

Bleeding instead of ovulating

36f had my period May 22nd —ended May 25th , got my period again June 2nd —ended June 5th and I just got it again June 13th. I’m suppose to be ovulating this week and bleeding instead. They are full on periods that last the same amount of time as my usual period.

All feed back is welcomed —I have emailed my OBYN and see what she saids.

It’s my birthday today and this has totally put a dark cloud over it.

Santa Barbara for my birthday weekend…

Hi! It’s my 36th birthday this weekend and my husband and I are going to SB. What are the best restaurants and things to do and beaches to go to.

All suggestions are welcomed.

Thank you in advance

Anyone with primaries ovarian failure or early perimenopause?

35f I was diagnosed with prolactinoma in 2024 and I’ve been on Cab since. First two years my period came back and has been regular —recently my period was late and got my period twice within a month. Ran labs and my FSH is super high and AMH is super low. I feel super tired all the time, fatigued, joints hurt, light headed and gaining weight. My prolactin is still normal.

I’m scared to be on HRT and Cabergoline.

Please any feedback back is welcomed.
