Was in the barbershop the other day and two dudes were arguing about this. First man opened it up by saying that the problem with relationships today is that most couples are just "siblings with benefits."
At first, the whole barbershop was about to get on him bc that sounded weird as hell, but he explained further by saying that "most people in relationships today love each other, but don't like each other, just like siblings, the main difference being that couples aren't related, and there's attraction and intimacy involved. But aside from that, if you look on social media, most couples are soft-dissing/complaining about each other's personalities and interests, and probably wouldn't be friends if they weren't attracted to one another physically."
Shop got a bit quiet after that, and I thought about it too. I've seen enough examples of either side of it. Curious what you guys think.
